Board Hopping and Advice
I have been reading a lot on the boards about people being disappointed that they havent lost as much weight 4 months out or 6 months and they are feeling as if they failed. Even though I havent had surgery I know this isnt a magic pill. So before you get depressed consider this...
How long did it take for your body to put on all the weight?
IF you hadnt had sugery how much weight would you have lost at this point?
IF you were on one of the new "fad" diets how much do you think you would have lost...
SO thats my rant which isnt really a rant compared to other times that I have ranted but its just me speaking out... LOL GOD I"M BORED TODAY!

I'm surprised my asthma is doing great but then again the temp here is about 20 degree's below normal!!! I think the Advair the pulm. Doc gave me is a wonder drug its working great, I think its why I didnt have an asthma attack with the airbag stuff that flew around my car during the accident.
As far as car goes... My dad said if I dont have to buy one right away to wait, one of his company cars is going to go up for sale and he can get me a 2002 or 03 model for 3-4K so I'm going to try and hold out a few more weeks, if not then I am going look at getting a PT Cruiser or a Ford Focus... I liked my bigger car but I really want some decent gas mileage.
I like the Mazda Tribute those are cute!!!

i am the advair poster child! what a great invention. i have a suzuki grand vitara and i love it! holds everything i need it to hold and it gets great gas mileage. the pt cruiser is a major ripoff. looks ok but it's just a neon with the cruiser body. the focus will be a better deal and better mileage and with gas being so pricey these days, i'd go with the focus. my son had a mazda tribute and he liked it alot. he gets cars from the dealership he works for. he gets a car every 5-6000 miles. he likes the tribute in the winter cause it has 4WD.
Just remember that these are probably the same people who are not follwing the rules of WLS. We've all heard from people who are whinning about not losing then admit they they have been eating the wrong foods or not exercising. If you don't do the work you can't expect to do well. thats just life.
