SUMMER ALMOST GONE

Can you believe summer is almost over? My gosh where did it go?? I know it is still summer, but our summer break from school is almost over. So, my silly question is this.......... What was your favorite summer memory you had this summer?????? FOR ME I WAS ABLE TO DO LOTS OF DIFFERNT ACTIVITES WITH OUT THE HEAT BEING A FACTOR AND WITHOUT HAVIGN TO STOP FOR BREAKS AND SWIMMING WITHOUT BEING BOTHERED

Yes, summer is almost over and I will have to go back to work to teaching those precious little ones. We go back on the 27th and the kids start the 30th. I think that is late for our area. School has it's ups and downs regarding food issues. I am usually too busy to stop and snack, but there are plenty of luncheons and breakfasts with unhealthy food for me. The best thing I did this summer was go to 6 Flags Great America and ride the rollercoasters. I remember just before going on the batman ride I had the harness around me and the woman came by and pushed it down further to tighten it. Also on the Eagle, I actually was LIFTED from the seat as I was flying around and up and down. What a feeling!

I hateeeee thinking summer's almost gone! I have to go back to work in two weeks. I've had three months off! I kinda sorta missed the kiddos though... kinda ! Since I go to several different districts I had to split the difference, some schools go back after Labor Day and some start back next week. My master's program starts the weekend I go back to work ... thank goodness it's only every few weeks! My favorite memory this summer? Fitting into a pair of jeans that were 3 sizes smaller than before my surgery two months ago! I've had some other pretty good ones too (OH in St. Louis, Chicago trips and surgery in general) but that one steals it all. Hope you enjoy what's left!!!! Cat
