I am post op for two week...

I am post op for two weeks now. I had my operation in Michigan, but I am a student and I live in Chicago. Does anyone have any information about aftercare or support groups in the city?

I also have no info for you but I'm anxious to know what you find out because I'm going to be having my surgery far from home too. I hope we both find the support we need. If nothing else this place is great!

Hi Lisa, Welcome to Chicago. There are a bunch of support groups all over the Chicago area. Where are you located? I attend a very nice one in Glenview (a northern suburb). . . email me if you're living anywhere near there. If not, I'm sure somebody can direct you if you're a little more specific about where you are looking. Again, welcome to town.

There is a support group also held at Evanston Hospital. It is through ENH, and I do not have the info, but if you email me, I can give you a phone number to call. Tricia
