Trying to pull it all together

Hi, I was wondering if any one had surgery performed by Dr. Fred. Tisenga and how was your experience. From beginning to end. Also I have finished all of my pre-tes (psych, sleep study, etc.). I was wondering what was the average wait time before I should call to see if they forwarded all of my information to the surgeon. Also has anyway dealt with Blue Cross Blue Shield-HMO of Illinois in the past 6 months.

I sent my first letter in on the 20th and I was approved in 24 hours. Can you believe that Here is the story: I have bcbs ppo and before sending my paperwok in I called1-800-533-1120 prompts 2-5-4-4-1 and had the csr do what she had to do in the computer. Start your pre cert. file. Then I hung up and called back using the following prompts 2-5-4-4-2 and spoke with the RN and ask what they would need from my DR. I had what they needed and I asked for their fax # and she gave it to me and I asked for her to call me back to let me know they got it. They called me back the next day (today 7-21-04) and told me that I was approved and would mail me my letter. It took 1 week to get letter. Please let me know if this works. [email protected]
