Medical Records ....Part II

In the last post I told everyone that I picked up my Med Recs from my PCP (FREE) and that I looked through them. (I also scanned them and saved them on a disc). Anyhoooo....... I made it a point to document each date with the weight and what I had went to the doctor for, I also did a chart with just my weights since 99'. Anyhooooo again, I took them to the surgeons office and they were quite impressed. I told them I didn't want anything holding up my surgery......not enough documentation, test results missing, etc. I have my final meeting with the surgeon on Aug. 6th to discuss a date and time! I am so anxious now! Laura

Good for you!!! Hope everything goes well when you go back for your final meeting. I will be praying for you that they schedule your surgery soon. I remember being that excited. They called me at work to tell me my date I was so excited I screamed and scared half my office. But, they we happy for me. Let's us know how things go.
