ANYONE SELF PAY AT RUSH HOSPITAL IN CHICAGO

I have an appointment to have surgery South of the Boarder in Mexico on Sep/22. I have been going to cook county hospital (now Strogers Hospital) and I have been put on a list that they dont know when will be activated again. I have been emailing Dr.Madura he is out of Rush and Strogers. Well Dr.M asked me to email his office to see what the cost would be for a self pay. Well I found out the self pay cost for sergeon only and My grandmother said we can afford that. Cher, I can't answer your question, but I have a few for you. I have heard of this mythical bariatric surgery at Stroger where they essentially pay for it, but all the details have been very sketchy....Can you give me any information on this. I know its too good to be true, but I thought it was worth a shot. I was denied by my insurance a few months ago...in the meantime my insurance coverage has expired and now i am considering self pay some where out of the country, but have heard about Bariatrics at Stroger.
