Setback

Okay, I thought I was doing really good, scheduled all my appointments within a weeks time, and now, find out that my Sleep Apenea test cannot be done until August 30th, and then it will be about 4 weeks out from that to schedule my surgery. I hate the waiting game! How do I just sit back and wait when having the surgery is all I think about? Thanks

Michele call around see if you can find anyone else that can do it sooner... Never know someone might get a last minute cancellation. Debby

I have to agree. I searched pulmonalogists in my area and eventually found one who could see me within the week. They then scheduled a sleep test for me, and it ended up being two nights later because there was a cancelation! So, I would just call around and ask them what their normal waiting time is like....Good luck!!! Amanda

It took me a year to get to have my surgery. I spent most everyday reading and researching and dreaming. I know the wait is rough but if you cant find someone to do it sooner you can still make positive use of your time! Best wishes to you Don

The waiting game is tough. I am so anxious I have severe insomnia. The surgery is all I can think about. I keep busy cleaning my house. I just did a major cleanout of the garage. P.S. Don, you look fabulous darlin'! I have 4 minature doxies. 3 dapple and 1 red, all long hair. They are great dogs!!!!
