Update on the Walk From Obesity

Hey Everybody! Just so you all know...the walk has been moved from Oak Park to the Chicago Botanic Gardens in Glencoe. It's off of Lake Cook Road by Northbrook. There is actually a train and bus that will take you right there. So if anyone is interested in the walk, please let me know and we'll get ya signed up. Also, we need sponsors...MAJOR sponsors. Right now we have no Major Sponsors ($250+) so we really don't have the ability to do anything. If you know someone that has a company that would like to advertise at this event, please let me know. $250 will get you a table! It's a GREAT CAUSE!!!! Everybody says we're crazy for doing this is such a short amount of time. I believe we can! We just need HELP! Thanks! Melissa

Is there a fee to walk? I am trying to get donations but was wondering if we have to pay to walk??? Is there a minimum?

It's $25 to register. That gets you a tshirt. Shirts are available up to 4X. If you need bigger than that, just let me know. It'll be MENS 4X so that is 54/56 I believe. There is no minimum to walk. If you get one donation of $5 that is fine. This is the 2nd year this is happening so we just need the people there. We have a small goal so any little bit helps. Melissa
