bcbs of illinois

Hi everyone, I am in the process of getting my information to the btc insurance office. I am a little worried that they will say...We don't accept bcbs ppo. I have yet to find a recently approved bcbs for the btc. Please give me encourgement. BTC stated 2 weeks ago they are now accepting bcbs, and my insurance told me they are within my network. I am soooo afraid ......they will say something different...after going through all the psch and primary dr thingy. PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

HEY TRACY B DONT GIVE UP THE FIGHT IF THEY CANT HELP U THEN GO ON TO ANOTHER BTC CENTER UNTIL SOMEONE HELPS U I WENT THROUGH THE SAME THING AND I FINALLY GOT A DATE(9-9-04) SO DONT GIVE UP. LIZ

Barix Clinics is now accepting BCBS for their bariatric program. I posted on this last week wanting more information. I recently found out that this is true.

I called BTC yesterday, and the insurance woman I spoke with STILL didn't know they had finalized a contract with BCBS. I called BCBS though, and was told they DO accept now, but Dr Vaughn is listed under Northwest Community Hospital. (you know, the little hospital behind the clinic) Anyhow, I'm calling again this morning, as BTC said she would verify with her mgr and would let me know for sure. Man, this is frustrating :P

Ted, If they are for some reason ...they have not let all there staff know. It seems like some of the dont have a clue what's going on. I hope things go well. Have you been approved? What is your status? Thanks!

Anne, Looks as if you are getting to the bottom of the whole insurance crap. Well I was wonndering if you called them yesterday, because you never called me back, and of course I dont know how to get in contact with you. At any rate, do you actually believe something has changed with them accepting bcbs of illinois in the recent weeks? Well my question to you also is since you have all your information in to the btc, will you submit to your insurance asap? let me know! Thanks!
