Consult tomorrow :)

I have my consult with Dr. Frantzides tomorrow at 9 am, and I will also be getting my surgery date tomorrow! woohoo!!!! Wish me luck

I hope they give me a date, i'm pretty sure they will. It might not be until 2 months away which I hope isn't the case! I hope it's next month!

Jennifer, Best of luck with your consult! I looked at your profile, and see your thoughts on Barix are much like my own. I have the appt with my PCP today for the referral letter, and will be scheduling a consult with Dr Frantzides as well as one in Elk Grove. (from everything I've heard, sounds like Dr Frantz. is great) I learned after Barix to take my time with surgeons and *pick* the one who's best for me. I'm kicking the smoking demon today as well :P How are you doing with that, by the way? Gah, so much to do! Good luck, let us know when you have your surgery date!

Anne, I'm down to one smoke a day and i'm kicking that today! I need to be smoke free for 4 to 6 weeks, i don't wanna risk anything you know? All I have to say is Barix stinks and if someone disagrees with that then thats ok, at least THEY had a good experience! I'm starting the patch tomorrow so hopefully that will curb my cravings. I'm glad i'm going to Dr. F, he's the bomb! I'll let you know how it was! Thanks for the well wishes. ~Jenn
