I got a date for my consult!!!!

Well, I am just about freaking out here because this makes it that much more real. I can feel my nerves. It is so strange. I never thought this would effect me. I go on the 28th for my consult with Dr. Tiesenga. After that, if he agrees (hello my bmi is 55) then my stuff will get sent to Public Aid for approval. I am freaking out! This is really happening. The tests Monday were the last thing before reality struck. Cheers to Oak Park Hospital for getting my results back in less than 48 hours. Melissa And just an FYI - Dr T's info isn't listed in the OH directory any longer because they are asking for too much $$ and they just can't do it now. BUT he does take public aid for those of you out there.

Public Aid will actually pay for it? I keep trying to talk my mother into getting the surgey and she's blaming it on the "fact" that public aid won't pay for it...what would her excuse be if they did pay for it?? I know this ain't for everyone but she could atleast think about it.
