Southern Illinois Anybody?

I'm looking for any info on weightloss surgery located near Southern Illinois, and if anyone knows of any support groups that would be great. Thanks, Ami

Ami- the closet I've found is either in St. Louis, or Dr. Oliphant in Urbana. I believe that St. Joseph's Hosp in Murphy has a support group like the 1 or 2 Tues of each month. Depending on what kind of insurance, you may be able to get another Dr somewhere else. There's a dr in Evansville that is doing the lap surgery. Springfield at SIU they also do the surgery. if you need any other help, you can e-mail me at [email protected] Also, check out on the site the bariatric surgeon and hospitals. Plus they'll have the list of insurance they accept. BTW- are you related to any of the waldrons from herrin? Ronnie,Ricky?

There is a support group in southern illinois called Southern Illinois Obesity Help Support Group, sponsored by ObesityHelp.com, there they can answer just about any questions you might have. They meet on the first Tuesday of each month at the SWIC (south western illinois college, belleville campus) garden room at 6:00 pm.
