UPDATE ON MOI
Greetings!!!!
I am glad to see that many good things are coming to some of you!!! Sorry I have been "gone", but I have had to do a lot of reflection, and I am coming out on top It has been 10 days since surgery and I have lost 25 pounds. I feel like the wicked witch................."I'm melting!!!" I have an entirely new attitude on life. I am A LOT more laid back, and a tad kinder (not as defensive.) I do not regret having this surgery at all and would do it again in a heart beat!!!! Good luck to all of you an your journeys, the road is bumpy but it will be well worth it in the end. Happy 4th!!!
As always,
Jeff the "LOSER"
Jeff....... Glad to hear you're doing so well. I too am a Registered Nurse. I work in a Neonatal ICU. I was just reading your profile and your experience with being told you should know better just because ur an OR Nurse. Bah Humbug...... what we DO know are the risks of staying morbidly obese.
I commend you on the great job ur doing so far and may pick your brain farther down the road. My surgery is scheduled for Dec 1 ( my choice) as I'm having a visitor from Chile in October and want to make sure I'm 100% up to a nice time.....particularly since Maria hasn't been back to the states in 34 almost 35 yrs.
So, come December, you should be an old pro at post-op life and i may be looking for some advice.....If it would be ok then to pick ur brain.
Again, all the best to you and I'll be anxious to watch you "melting" away. Post more pics along your journey !
