moving your way

I am moving from the north shore of boston to evanston during the month of august. Does anyone have anything to say about the program at Evanston Northwestern Healthcare and/or Dr Printen or Dr Zenem? THanks for your help. kathryn 265/226

I'm still just a pre-op with my date set for July 28, but so far I am very pleased with the program at Evanston Northwestern Healthcare. My surgeon is Dr. Frantzides, and from what I can tell, he is one of the very top people in this field. All my pre-op testing was done at Evanston Northwestern Hospital, and my experience was almost universally positive. Not insignificant, their Bariatric Coordinator (did I get that title right?) Karen Thomas is a wonderful asset to the program. She went through her own procedure a couple years ago, and has kept off over 200 lbs. Whatever you are going through, either she has also gone through it, or she knows someone who has. I feel like I am well looked-after with this program. HI Kathryn......... I am a nurse at Evanston Northwestern. And that is the hospitalI'll be having my surgery with. Personally, I'd tell you to look into Dr Constantine Franzides. He is an incredible surgeon.......very high credentials.......an expert at what he does. He is world renowned. He is very patient........will take his time with you and put's you immediately at ease. Nad as you'll see in his page........he has the MOST GORGEOUS SMILE AND EYES. So, he's nice and nice looking. I hvae never feltso atease seeing any Dr in my lifetime. He just has a way about him. Then add that to his expertise and you have a winning act. His office help and his bariatric nurse are phenomenal too. And, YES. I do work At Evaanston Northwestern.........but I have been a patient there too and I have to say that it is a FINE institution. There is nothing you could need pre or post op that they can not do for you. And, it's a very attractive facility.....so pleaseant to be in too. Any questions I'd be happy to try and help you out.
