Support Group needed! ! ! !

Hello everyone, I live in Berkeley, IL and had my rny done at Alexian Bros. in Elk Grove Village. I am a patient of Dr. Kane Sr, and now Dr. Kane Jr, due to Sr's retirement. I am in desprate need of a support group. I am starting to graze, and lots of head hunger. I need help before I blow this! Can you guys give me some locations of support groups and when they meet??? Cara, My support group meets the first Wednesday of the month @ 7pm @ the Holiday Inn Oak Lawn in the south burbs (not far off of I-294 South tollway & the 95th Street EAST exit). They also started having specialized sessions for post-ops every Tuesday night @ 7pm and these are at the Annex to Little Company of Mary Hospital (Evergreen Park - again take 294 South to 95th street East exit and take that about 6 miles down). I've also heard that Northwestern hospital downtown has support group meetings, as well of UIC in the South loop, and Rush/St. Lukes in the west loop, but I have no clue as to when those are. Cara, I'm a patient of Suburban Suburban Care Group. Dr Rantis is in that group along with Dr Kane. I've had my surgery I year ago and started to graze myself. I the scale has stayed the same for the last 4 months right at a weight loss of 100-108. I keep going up and down. There is a support group coming up on friday night July 16th 7-8:30 at alexian brothers. This is for people over 4 months out. I've been trying to go to this one for months. Because I need lots of help. Saturday July 3 9:00-10:30. Like the meeting you had to attend before surgery. Both of of these are at Alexian Brothers auditorim A & B Keep up the great weight loss. I read your profile if your in need of some smaller clothes. Give me a email. I still have tons that I can't seem to just throw in the trash. There is nothing wrong with them. Joanne

Hi. My support group meets 2nd Wed of the month from 5 p.m till around 6 p.m at the Central Dupage Hospital conference center in Winfield. That's across from the Central Dupage Hospital on Jewell road in Winfield. I've been going to my group for almost a year. Not every meeting but I try when I can. I feel comfortable with everyone and everyone is very understanding and patient with new people. Hope this helps, thanks.

Sr retired??? Guske is gonna be my surgeon if/when I get approved...I believe they have a support group right there at Alexian Brothers...try their website....suburban surgical care.com
