HELP! Looking for Doc who takes Ill public aid medical card

I have posted this question before and got a response but I lost the paper I wrote it on and I can't find my stupid post again. LOL. I have had the RNY surgery on 7-22-03 but I am looking to find a doctor who accepts public aid medical card. I have a small support group and I am trying to help others get plugged into a good program that will accept the card. It is unfair that the Dr.s want to charge the higher fees and that is why alot will not accept the card at their practice. If anyone can help me with this info it would be greatly appreciated. I have checked the posts and have Dr. Olphients (sp?) name and number already. Thanks for your help Ramona

Dr. Shayani In maywood.... he only does the Lap Band and he requires you to go to one support group meeting then will schedule a consult he moves pretty fast and I am using him along with a couiple others here. 708-327-2899 Dr. Oliphant in Urbana he moves slower you have to call his office for a packet fill it out send it back in and you'll hear from them for an appointment in a few months I think he's currently scheduling for december. 217-383-3240 RNY only The surgeon at the COMP clinic at SIU they require a $260 up front to cover things that medicaid wont ??? and then 10-20 for nutritionist appointments and support group costs too.
