depressed
Amanda,
Thanks for your reply This quitting smoking thing is harder than I thought it would be! I used to only smoke 5 cigarettes a day so I though it would be easier to quit.. I guess it's hard either way! I'm going to stockpile that smoke money and save it for clothes... I thought I had a problem with complusive clothes buying now.. well look out! hehe I'm calling my surgeons office today to tell them of my situation. I'll let you all know what I find out. You're a real sweetheart!!!! *hugs*
~Jenn
Oh Honey!
I am so sorry. It can never just be one thing, right? UGH!
Big hugs! It will get better. Sometimes you have to fall to get up. KWIM?
You don't need him anyway. He wouldn't be supportive BEFORE surgery and you don't need someone like that POST OP either.
This will just make you stronger and we are all here for you.
Give me his address..I'll go kick his ass!
Ok Jennifer before I go into all of this I want you to know I have been through my tough times too. I am here to help but I am going to give you some strong words...
1st. the boyfriend he's a loser and just think when the weight is gone you will shine and attract the right guy. Good riddance to bad rubbish! Once your weight was off you probably would have seen him for what he was better he's gone now so you can worry about you and only you!
2 nd Now get off your butt stop feeling sorry for yourself and get productive. Take 1 problem at a time. Like Kathy pointed out the Diabetes and the Hypertension will be helped or fixed all together once you have the surgery. SO there are two problems off the list.
3rd Smoking??? come on!!! how counter productive can you be?? toss em out with the boyfriends crap!
4th Call the surgeon's office explain your plight maybe they can help you out by bumping up your date.
5th you have until October to find a new job. 1) do you have an updated resume? if not get working on it. Check with a local college many of them have Career centers where you can go to get job assistance. I work in a local colleges career center and we have a jobs database here that people can put their résumé's on and look for jobs. 2) Get your resume on Monster.com; you can look for jobs there and on careerbuilder.com. If you need any job hunting advice contact me [email protected] I will be more than happy to help in anyway I can.
So your going through a rough time get up brush yourself off dry your tears, look at yourself in the mirror and say "watch out world here i come.. Then roar like a tigress on the charge!!!"ROOOOOOOOAAAAAARRRRRR
I woke up one day and discovered I was a fat miserable housewife, married to an abusive, self esteem crushing ******* I had 3 kids and no education. I left the pig took the kids with me, went back to college got a job and now I am working on loosing weight. (that was the cliff notes version trust me it was a long hard process that about killed me at times) Don't look at a challenge as an insurmountable odd. Look at it as an opportunity to grow and learn. Women are very strong when hurdles are tossed up in front of us. so Climb that mountain... jump those hurdles I bet in a year from now your going to be laughing at all this. And you're going to be a hell of a lot stronger for it all too!!! of course I always say: what doesnt kill you only makes you wish you were dead: oh wait its what doesnt kill you only makes you stronger... Youll be ok you had your pity party now its time to be productive!
