OT: Tx Member with a question

Hello Illinois Message Board, I am hoping that y'all are as great a source of info as I find my Texas board members to be. This post is off topic, so, please forgive me in advance. I have an 18 y.o. daughter with alot of mental health issues. She has just checked herself into a "life" rehab program in Chicago and I am hoping that y'all might be able to re-assure me that it's not a cult or anything I should fear. She just called them yesterday and they wanted her to go straight to Houston (we live in Austin). They said they were going to put her on a plane (today) to Chicago for a 90 day program. I told her to call me this morning and let me know that everything was on the up and up or to tell me to come and get her. She didn't call this morning. When I called them, they told me she was resting and everything was fine. I asked if she could call later and they said yes. It's 14 hours later and I haven't heard anything and can't get ahold of anyone. Anyway, the program is called Restoration Ministries and it is through the Chicago Victory Church. Any information you can help me with is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance, Jackie in Texas

Ive never heard of this program. I hope all goes well for your daughter and shes ok. I would be very suspicious if they didnt allow her to call you. Could you post the address, or the town its in? Maybe I can find some info on it. If its close...drive by. Good luck!

I checked the phone book, I found a church with that name on W. Grand Ave in Chicago. If this is the place, I can tell you that its not a good neighborhood at all.
