How much for the Nutrition class with Suzan Rizzo??

I just realized shes not covered with my insurance. It will only cover 80%. Im curious what the total cost of this class is.

I had an appointment with the same lady. Heard she was great out of Alexian Brothers Hospital. I cancelled my appointment for last tuesday with her since my insurance didn't pay for any of it. They told me the hour session was 130.00. Call the location and get a exact quote. Mine was going to be a year review. My insurance did pay for the 1st one that was mandotory from the doctor office. i had to see a nutritionist and an exercise physiologist and it was $100 for the both of them. it's considered 1 visit. i had it done at condell health club which is part of the condell medical center in libertyville. insurance didn't cover it. had to bite the bullet and pay out of pocket.

Is she the nutritionist that Suburban Surgical sends you to at Alexian Bros.? I never thought to check to see if she was on my insurance.

Yes she is, I never thought to check either, I didnt know it was billable, I thought it was a class/seminar that was included (free like the initial seminar) She isnt part of my plan, but my insurance coveres 80% if its out of network...or so I hope.

Oh great, you mean I have to pay out of pocket for this Bul%Sh&t Nutrition class! I'm sorry, but nothing was mentioned about nutrition. I am not happy about that! I did not think of checking my insurance but I will now of course after the fact. I thought it was just something that would be charged by Alexian! Gee, did the doctors office mention this? Of course not! I just went to that class. I knew more being I had the surgery five yrs ago. Some of the stuff that was said was not totally correct! Remember everything is individually based! I could have taught the class. A person learns more in the support groups than that class. She pushed her, well did not push that hard, but certain products! I mentioned GNC and she said they do not promote them b/c they are not fda approved...yet i have had gnc and quite honestly, their stuff tastes way better than what she was showing us. The projector did not work and I could have just taken what she gave the class home to read, which is what I did as she did not go over much. Sorry about my ragging. I am just surprised that is all! I will fight this bill. I knew it was billable b/c they registered you and took your insurance card.
