Weekend Roll Call

Hello everyone

I am having a relaxing Saturday.  I am watching TV and during the commercials I am cleaning the house.  Later tonight we are going out to eat and then to a comedy show...I am calling it a date night.  He laughed and said every night is date night with me.

I needed a relaxing day and go out and have some fun.  I had a very busy stressful week at work.  The auditors are coming next week and I wasn't given the list of items they need till Wednesday and told it's needed by Friday.  This immediately gave me a headache that lasted for more than 24 hours.  Ugh!!!  I was able to make the deadline by the skin of my teeth.  I was done literally right at 4pm on Friday.  See when the auditors come it's my job to do all the prep work and my old boss takes it from there.  So unless they have any questions about the work I furnished...my job is done.  So next week should be back to be boring.

This weekend is Greg's mom estate sale.  Hopefully it is very successful.

Lisa-  I don't really bother with socks.  I have 3 types of socks.  I have my black dress socks, my white athletic socks, and my ultra warm hiking socks.  I buy the same of each.  So when I grab 2 black socks or two white they are always a match.  It's my lazy method I came up with so I don't have to A) deal with pairing socks B) even if I lose a sock there is always another match.  It's my system it works for me.  LOL.

Dawn- Hope Liv got back safely

I managed to lose a pound this week.  I have been trying to eat good.  Hopefully I will lose another pound next week.

Well see ya later...have a good weekend.

Happy weekend to you too. I try to do that with my socks too, but I still have a lot of the before socks. So, as I weed them out, I still have some. The pair am wearing today will be going in the trash. They both have small holes in the heels.

I am slowing getting the books ready for taxes. I am always glad when that job is done.

I put a chicken cassarole on for dinner. Very simple, shredded chicken, celery, onions sometimes, 10 slices of torn bread and broth to moisten. baked at 375  until brown on top  with cream of celery soup as the gravy.  Mashed potatoes and green peas round it out. There will be enough  left over for lunches this week.

Have a great weekend.

Lisa
