Thursday Roll Call

Good Morning Friends,

Crystal, just a thought, why not keep a big fuzzy sweater at work, so when it is freezing in there, you can wear it. I had one in my one office, since we didn't control the heat, and it was set on 69 at all times.

This morning I have to drive over to Peru to pick up my new glasses. I couldn't pick them up yesterday, they didn't email me until after 2, and I had to be in Ottawa by 3, to see the eye specialist from Gailey Clinic. Then we were meeting friends for an early dinner in Ottawa.

So,  I get to drive to Peru, then back to Ottawa to pick up a new winter pool cover, the store closes early, before I was out of the eye dr. Then home to finish cleaning the house for the weekend.

Back to my eyes, I have something in my left eye that was caused by to much exposure to the sun as a child. I can't pronounce it,  but no problem. He also found  some possible gacoma. He said he will see me in 4 months, to see if it has developed or not. So, it is a wait and see thing.

Crystal, I will agree with Dawn. You had a great party. We really enjoyed meeting Amanda and Charles, your in-laws, who btw, adore you and Amanda, Brenda, and especially Greg.

Sharon and Nancy, where are you???

Jason, we need to hear from you.

Hi and good morning everyone,

Good luck with you in getting your new eyeglasses and in whatever else you need to do today.

Sorry for not being on the Illinois Forum for awhile. I've been busy off & on for awhile. Today I need to go up to Kmart to get a few things, do some apartment cleaning and a few other stuff too. Today I'll be getting ready to go to Wrigley Field for three games in a row (Sept. 4th, 5th, 6th) to root for the Arizona Diamondbacks. Also, sometimes this month I'll go to the DMV to take my driving test, my aunt will let me use her car to take the test, I hope I pass.

Time for me to get going, things to do. Have a great day everyone.

Good morning Lisa and the rest of Illinois!

Quick one for me today, I am busy at work.

After work, I am going into Rockford to meet Todd at the Second Annual Bruce Whitehead Ice Bucket Challenge for ALS.  At least the weather is better this year.

Tomorrow, work then the long weekend.  Saturday is a big party day for Todd, beginning with gold at 9:00 am.  I will probably go for a bit, maybe for the horseback ride at 3:30.  Sunday would have been Bruce's birthday and I hear the friends are getting together and Monday is the Lawn Tractor Pulls.  Some time, I will have to clean my kitchen and bathrooms for Monday.
