Thursday Roll Call
Happy Thursday,
Yesterday morning, while drinking coffee with a friend, I decided to trying to clear off my kitchen counter top, of everything not needed on top( I left the 2 coffee pots and toaster). The only thing Hubert said was, "your at it again". When we were first married, I would change things around constantly.
Hubert left his shoes and some clothing in Branson. He couldn't find his shoes and called the hotel. They called back a few hours later and told him they were found. He should have everything tomorrow.
Today, I will finish cleaning house, and do some errands. Chili sounds good for dinner.
Have a great day,
Hugs,
I leave the station for a record's manager meeting in Plainfield @ about 10:45. Lunch first then the meeting. Should be a good one because the Attorney General Ofc is going to guide us on how to handle ambulance chaser accident requests.
Home afterwards. Have some chicken breast defrosting. Probably will just saute them.

Good morning ILLINOIS!
WOW, I guess it has really been FOREVER since I've checked in. I hope everyone is doing well. If I missed anything really important, please let me know. I DO know that Crystal is now a Mrs.!
I took Riley and Todd with me to take Olivia back to school and we stayed at a condo very close to the beach. It was Riley's first look at mountains and the ocean. I think she likes it.
We got Olivia settled into her new dorm (apartment, really) and unfortunately, she had training the whole time we were there. She trained from 8 am to 9 pm every day! On Sunday, they, "let them out early" at 7:00 pm and she visited with us for about an hour. I was hoping that she would get more beach time, but alas....the life of a Resident Assistant.
I came back and went back to my new job. It seems to suit me well. Not a lot of pressure and I get to hear the squeals of delight of small children most of the day. I have kids from 6 weeks to 3 years on my floor. They are SO cute! there are a few bonuses, one is that I can use the Monroe Library and the other is that Monroe has many meal options that are delicious and I could pick up something on the way home some time.
Last Saturday, I passed the 1.5 year mark of sobriety. Just another day in my life! I DO hope that surgeons are now warning patients of this danger.
I have no idea of what to have for dinner, but glad to stop in and visit you all!
Hello everyone
I am starting to feel more human now. I am still really stuffy but that sick, tired feeling is gone and my throat doesn't hurt anymore. I have so much to do around the house. So I would like to feel 100% ASAP.
I don't have any plans today after work. I have been trying to take it easy and not push myself. I want to get better...fast!!!
Downtown Plainfield has so many nice restaurants. One of my favorites is Hopscotch and Vines. It's like a wine place and they have all these different beers (I don't even like beer). But even if that's not your thing they have great food. I love their food. For breakfast we always go to the Southern Belle there. If it's nice outside we eat out on the patio.
Well I better get back to work. Have a good day all
