Thursday Roll Call

Good Morning!

Welcome Japabp 2000. We all love it when we get someone new to join us. Where in Southern Illinois are you? I grew up in St. Clair County and now live in LaSalle County with my Hubby. You are in for one heck of a ride. I think we all agree, it is one of the best things we have done.

Yesterday didn't go as planned. I never did get the pavers down, but I did start on the pantry. I will get to the yars today. Then we have a play tonight (Damn Yankees).

Chris, I have read the stuff on Shingles too, but I am planning on getting the shot. The age thing is the older you are, the worst it can be. A friend in Bellville got them, and she was sich with them for 3 months are more. If we get them at Kroger's, our cost is $75. Without insurance, it can run up to $300 or more.

Crystal, I am looking forward to your party. Hubert and I will be there.

Hello everyone

The doctor basically said exactly what you said.  I don't need the shingles shot.  I am young and healthy.  There is no reason why I would have to worry about shingles and my insurance won't cover it.  So that's that.  He put me on a new nasal spray for my allergies.  It's a bit more expensive.  I will see if it's worth it.  I don't know if the spray made me sleepy or I was just tired.  But I seemed to be so sleepy yesterday night.  I hate when medicine gives me that groggy feeling.  I will use it tonight but I will wait till right before I go to bed.   

I picked up dinner for Greg.  It was sort of a surprise.  He has this thing for the Minions.  So I went to McDonalds and got him food and some Minions (he was surprised).  I came home and made myself a buffalo chicken salad.  A big one!!!  I was hungry!!!  I don't eat McDonalds...blah. 

After work I am going to grocery shopping and that is it for me. 

By the way I have this count down app.  A friend at work that is pregnant showed me an app that counts down days to important dates.  So like she has the app counting down to her due date.  I have it set for my wedding day.  So according to my count down app it is exactly...23 days 4 hours and 58 minutes till my wedding!!!!

Thanks so much for the warm welcome. I am in a tiny town called Mounds. It's about 10 miles north of the very southern town of Cairo. I live in a kind of rural area with my husband and our dog. We live on my grandmothers property, as does an uncle who lives way behind us, and my mother, daddy, and brother off to the side of us. lol  Kind of like our own little neighborhood I guess. But anyway, I don't work outside of the home. I help care for my grandma and am there a lot so if I am not super active that is why, but I will try my best to be on often.
