Monday Roll Call

Happy Monday,

Does anyone remember the old poem about the 7 days of the week, I think starts with Monday wash day,....... It just came to mind.

We are putting a new roof on one of our rentals. Hubert just called and told me that that the roofer called him, and the whole under lay is rotten, so more $$$$$. This is going to be one expensive summer.

Crystal, depending on the size of the dead bush, you may want to have someone pull it up with a chain attached to a bumper of a pickup. That is the best way.

How is Dave this morning?

My chicken was great yesterday. I have enough for another meal, probly tomorrow night. Pork cutlets tonight.

Yep, I think we too wound up getting our front bushes pulled out with a truck as well.........come to think of it.

Yesterday we took the grandkids to another park....we started doing this recently on Sundays after church. Apparently Bolingbrook has a ton of playgrounds made up of different themes. We hope to visit all of them before winter. Yesterday the parks theme was planets in French......weird but cool.

Lisa, I saw a recipe for pork cutlets on Cooks Country and also plan on those tonight. I will be grilling them.

Hello everyone

I am so glad this is a 4 day work week.  Although, it's up in the air as to what the weather will be like.  It keeps changing. 

Tonight, we may be going to the movies to see Jurasic World. 

We have an opportunity to buy a couple things used and save some money.  Like a snow blower and generator.  That would be nice.  We will see if Greg thinks it's worth it. 

Well time to get back to work...have a sunny afternoon
