Sunday Roll Call
Hi Christine and Friends,
This weather is so delightful. I almost wore sandals yesterday. I think after the horrid Feb we had, anything that is remotely nice is welcomed. But it is way better than remotely nice today!
Saw the 2nd Exotic Marigold Hotel at the movies. The first one was better.
Yesterday, G and i were out all day enjoying the day. My clothes are all getting big, so I am hoping I have clothes in the spare closet for spring time. I did buy a lovely top at Ross. Ross's prices are almost as good as Good Will. i cannot believe how low prices are there. But just like GW, you have to be patient and peruse tons of crap to find the treasure. Their home department is as nice as TJ Maxx.
Today is church and then we are babysitting the babies. G and I are truly excited about that. I am going to take my rain boots so we can take them to the park. It will probably be slushy with all the snow melted.
I have my last step study today after church. I will have completed my 7 month journey and all 12 steps. What an amazing gift i have given myself. I highly recommend this program for anyone. Everyone has something that is keeping them from being their best self.......anger, codependence, addictions like food...this celebrate recovery program has been amazing for me in my issues with food. The best part has been how when something is wrong between G and I, I now can now focus on myself and my part in it, instead of blaming him and being upset with him. It has helped my marriage in ways I never expected. The tools I have learned in this program are priceless. I can process my feelings in ways that do not become anger. Boy has that helped me in more ways than one.
Crystal, so glad you are ok and all you have are some bumps or bruises. It could have been so much worse.
Dawn and Lisa are rolling, rolling rolling.......enjoy!
Carla, enjoy that baby. Nancy, enjoy those fur babies.
Connie, I love going to concerts, it must be even better when you go to see someone you know.
Christine , Jason and everyone , enjoy this gorgeous weather and rest of the weekend.
Hugs,
Sharon
Funny that you say that, Sharon!
I had a gentleman in my IOP that said something similar and I agree 100%........If everyone lived by the 12 Steps, this world would be a much better place. In my recovery, I will re-do the steps over and over for the rest of my life. It is an on-going thing. Very freeing! Congratulations on your new way of life!
What eating plan are you following, by the way?
