Wednesday Roll Call
IT IS HUMP DAY!
Good Morning, what is everyone doing today? I am heading to Ottawa to work today. My boss wanted the day off, so I get to go to her spot, instead of LaSalle. The bad thing is, I start 30 min. later, so I lose 1/2 hr, and it is only 1/2 the distance, so I lose milage as well.
Hubby is off today, to the apartment he will go.
We are not going out tonight. I want to see both Suurvivor and the Amazing Race. I also want o****ch Chicago PD, but that will be taped.
Have a great day,
Hugs,
Hello everyone
Just the same old thing here. I am making chicken sausage and peppers for dinner. Last night I made turkey and potatoes....and it was quite tasty. After work I have to go to the store for groceries. I feel like I am forever getting groceries....ugh. We need to eat out more...LOL...just kidding.
Just as I am typing things have changed a little. I will be helping Greg out at the church tonight for a little bit. I just make my recipe a little easier. I was going to make the sauce...but now the jar stuff it is...LOL. Dinner is sometimes ever changing.
Greg and I have barely watched regular TV lately. We have been watching Netflix or his HUGE collection of TV shows. Currently I am watching Castle. I never watched that show before....so I have like 5 seasons to watch. But to tell you the truth I am sick of TV and want to get out...but I hate Winter...so TV it is.
I hear we are getting more snow...not a lot but any snow is too much snow!!!
I was reading Nancy's kitty stories on Facebook...oh they are hilarious.
Well back to work all. Have a good day.
Actually you can watch Netflix or Hulu or almost any other subscription or free online service on Roku. But when I moved in with Greg there was no need for my Roku anymore because Greg has an EXTENSIVE collection of movies and TV shows that he has on his hard drive that we can watch on any TV....or bring it with us (we did when we went to the B&B). I still have Netflix and can stream it through the DVD player here. But the Roku I shipped to Amanda as part of her CHristmas present. I didn't need it anymore and Amanda was so amazed by it when she came back from Peru. I thought of her immediately when I decided I didn't need it any longer.
Hi Peeps,
I've been sick with a cold that is kicking my butt. I have razor blade throat and my nose is burning like it has a cow poker in it.
I am working tomorrow and I worked yesterday. It was a catered party inside for Ford Motor big wigs and i just was happy I didnt sneeze on anyone.
I havent been watching my tv shows either. i think I have 6 weeks of Chicago PD I need to catch up on. I usually fall asleep early. As soon as I sit I fall asleep.
Nothing else going on in my world except i have stuck to my diet and all my clothes are getting big. Yay.
Crystal I cant wait to hear about the dress. I am sure it will be lovely.
Enjoy this day the Lord has made.
Hugs,
Sharon
Hello Everyone!
Time is still flying in my corner of the world. We are busier than ever. One of our centers out east keeps getting snowed out so we are getting all of their calls as well as ours which makes life even more interesting! Most of the time there are 40 or more calls holding so you can imagine how pleasant people are after being on hold!
The cats are being little hellions. Buffy spent the time the other morning while I was getting dressed knocking everything off my bedside table, lamp, phone, lotion, tv remote etc. I put it all back and scolded her only to have her repeat her efforts just a few minutes later! So much for kitty lectures. She did it on purpose!
Then that night, in the middle of the night, someone or two or three decided to go exploring. We have a small dorm refrigerator that we use to keep water cold and to defrost meat in. Well, someone decided to open that fridge and take out a nice steak that was defrosting for dinner. The container was found in the dining room and the steak was found in on the kitchen floor. The door to the refrigerator was wide open and all the cats were looking innocent. Even Claude who is my talkative child would not utter one peep about the adventure. All were silent and had the look of innocence and "Who me?" on their faces. So much for Rick and my dinner. Glad the cats enjoyed their midnight snack!
Now we are having to figure how to "lock" the refrigerator. Rick also found the top drawer of his dresser open this week and things stolen. These cats are getting more adventurous by the day!
I see that Connie and Kay are safely home from down under!
Crystal, I cant wait to see pictures of your wedding dress.
Lisa, I hope you are driving carefully on these nasty roads.
Jason, what a great write up on your zip line adventure.
Everyone have a great day!
Sharon, get well quickly!

Hi Nancy,
Being busy can make time fly by fast (been there in being busy). Looks like you're doing good. Looks like your cats are having a good time. Maybe at some point you might need a "cat whisperer".
Thank you, I like my story.
Have a great evening.
