Hiya Peeps,

Happy Paczki Day! I love paczkis. I grew up in a Polish neighborhood in Chicago and the pacski was a staple in our household. We had the custard filled ones and berry filled ones as treats on Fridays. Funny, but i cannot recall a recent Fat Tuesday in years that I have not been on a diet and could have a paczki. It just reminds me how long i have been battling this weight issue. Really would love to finally win this battle of the bulge.

Got a call last night my son in law is going out of town this week, so between me and the other Grandma we will be baby sitting all week. I will be with those babies every night this week except for Thursday since I work that day. Speaking of work, they say it's going to be frigid on Thursday. I guess I'll be selling a lot of hot chocolate and coffee again.

Still in a bit of a daze from eating that pasta Sunday. Hoping I feel better by tonight. Not sick, just a bit foggy. Been keeping a food diary and it is good to see what makes me itchy, gives me a head ache, gives me a brain fog etc. Gluten definitely is the brain fog culprit. But according to the book, after 6 months of not eating, your body heals itself and you may be able to reintroduce it in to your diet again.

Well, I am swimming today, going to the library and seeing the babies. Whats on your agenda? Any beads and wild dancing in the streets for any of you on this Fat Tuesday?????

Enjoy this day the Lord has given us.

Hugs!

Sharon

Hi & good morning everyone,

Happy Pączki Day to you too! Cool. I'm part Polish. I can't remember the last time I had a Pączki, I might go get one today, not sure yet.

Sounds like all is good with you.

Not sure what I'll do for today, I guess I'll play it by ear. I do have some library books that I'll go over.

Well...I better get going. Have a great day everyone.

Stay warm

Jason.

No more some for a while. I think if Old Man Winter doesn't stop any time soon, I think it'll be Open Season on Old Man Winter.

Hello everyone

We have packis here at work.  Lucky for me I don't like them.  I hate my donuts or pastries with cream or fruit filled.  Sometimes it pays to be picky.  I am sitting here with my yogurt and not the least bit tempted.

Tonight we are going to a church fundraiser for VBS.  Oh I loved my VBS when I was a kid.

I am not liking this Sleep number bed.  I can't believe people swear by these beds.  It seems that no matter what I set this bed to I am uncomfortable.  Not to the extreme...but enough.  I miss my bed.  And I don't complain...I don't want to be like that.  Because he would go through the trouble of getting my bed out of storage and setting it up for me.  I really don't want him to do all that.

Well back to the grind...have a wonderful day all.
