Monday Roll Call
Good Morning,
I just spent the last hour and a half cleaning out my jewelry chest. I bet I boxed up 1/2 of what was in there, since I don't wear it, and there is still to much in it. But, I did find a couple of pieces that I lost, so it was time well spent.
Otherwise, no plans for today except to stay warm and bake a chicken for supper tonight.
Other then Christine, who has plans for today?
Huggers,
Hello everyone
Other than work I have no plans. But Greg gets the day off. His office gets all these weird holidays off...that no one but bankers and teachers get off. I'm jealous!!! I am making salad today for dinner.
I had a busy day yesterday. Half the day in church. We help out with audio/visual and there is an occasion when they ask us to do both services, so we are there from set up till tear down. But the hardest part is always getting up because once I'm there I enjoy myself. Then we went out for pizza. Then we met his sister and other family to see her new house in Naperville. It's a very BIG house. But she's a doctor so she worked hard she deserves it.
I am very excited about our wedding plans. And it turns out that quite a few family will end up being there. We thought it would be just us...well because it's in California and we can't afford to fly people in. Well his family are flying themselves in to be there. How great is that. And Amanda and Charles will be there too!!! Yeah!!!
Dawn- I just want to say...CONGRATS!!!! ONE YEAR...WOOHOO!!!
Well I better get back to work....stay warm.
Hi Peeps,
It's a regular Monday for me, washing clothes, and putzing around the house. I have a meeting tonight and that's my day.
I am a bit dotty today. I got too much sleep and feel a bit foggy. I had about 1/2 cup of pasta yesterday(a big non-no on the Virgin Diet) and it effected me the way the book said it would......negatively. So check; right now I need to stay away from gluten. Back on program.
Yesterday was nice to see the babies and my brother and sister in law. They all made G feel special at his birthday celebration. We went to an Italian restuarant and I had sea bass. At first I thought they had made a mistake and given me chicken breast. It was my first venture into this type of fi**** was very bland and very expensive...note to self: stick with salmon next time.
The museums are free this month and I too want to visit one before the month is over. Trying to fit that in...smart to do it when school is out Christine.
Lisa, I have so much jewelry I dont wear anymore also. Styles change, but I think I changed. Speaking of changing...in my adult life I think I have worn like 4 fragrances total until recently. I wore Halston in the late 70's and then Beautiful for a couple years, Pheromone for the next 25 years.......well for the past year or so I have worn Light Blue by Dolce and Gabana. My daughter recently asked me to start wearing Beautiful again. So i got a bottle to keep around when I see her and wore it yesterday for her. I smelt like a hot hooker who needed a bath. It was terrible! I used to love that stuff....oh how we change. She was so happy, but i could not wait to come home and shower. This morning I smelled it on my pillow and gagged. The fragrance is the smae, but i changed.
Dawn, hooray for your year anniversary.
Crystal, it is nice that family will be with you to celebrate the wedding. Family is ultimately the best part of our lives. Now what are you wearing? It must be fabulous!
Hope everyone is doing something fun on this President's Day.
Hugs,
Sharon
