Saturday Roll Call

Hi My Peeps,

G is working today and I am going to dye my hair and then go to a funeral. My friends Nana passed.

The sun is so lovely. I awoke today to Pecker (thats what I call her) pecking at our window. I dont recall if I mentioned this but a female cardinal pecks all day at our kitchen window. It is incessant from dawn to dusk for the past week or so. I read they do this because they think their reflection is another female trying to take their area over. Females are territorial in the spring before they have babies. Spring!!!!!!!!!!! My cats are going wild and cannot relax. The sounds and "yoddling" from 3 male cats regarding this bird is quite an ensemble. I cant cover the window with paper because there is a huge lilac bush covered in snow in front of the window.  

Well, I am off to start my day.

Sharon, try putting paper on the inside of the window. We had that on our bedroom window a few years ago.

I made whoopies pies this morning for Hubert. Not sure what dinner will be tonight.

I have some laundry to finish and a few more things to do around the house, but I think I will stay home today.

I am still working on the puzzle from H. I may get it done by next Christmas. Then, it will be donated to something! I will not do it again!

Have a great sunny day. I am planning on at least getting outsde and look at the sun today.

Hello everyone

I was up like Lisa before dawn...at around 4am.  Oh well.  I laid in bed till 8am cruising the internet and relaxing. 

Today we are meeting Brenda and Greg will be doing his thing with the church.  Afterwards we will have a nice evening.

Then we have to go to Menards.  Greg wants to build a new box spring for the bed.  The existing frame is a problem.  He has a sleep number bed and the box spring is plastic and comes in two pieces.  His bed frame is old maybe even an antique and was not built for these kinds of box springs.  Now one could just get some plywood and put it down and have the the plastic box spring supported by that.  But he says he would rather have a normal box spring and he can build one for the fraction of the price that a mattress store would sell it at.  This is all becoming a problem because last night the box spring start to sag because it's not being properly supported he said.  He rigged for a temporary fix but this new box spring that he is measuring to specially fit the old frame is the long term fix.  FYI- this bed will be the secondary bed when we get our house.  My bed is better.  I don't like this Sleep Number bed.  Blah!!!

Sharon-  at my old place I placed a bird feeder right out side the window for my kitty.  It was hours of entertainment for Jasper.
