Saturday ROLL Call
HI dEAR ONES,
Typing in the dark, so please forgive the typos. Its about 5 and I wish i could have slept a little later. After just lying there praying and then playing with the cats, I decided to get up and make coffee.
I must have been in in haze yesterday. I thought I stopped by and then noticed I posted in Thursdays spot instead of Friday.....
Lisa, I love baking bread. It is something I learned from my mom and I always think of her whle I am assembling everything and kneading the dough. I do it the old fashioned way, no machines, no measuring, everything done by feeling the dough. It is an old fashioned process that brings me peace while I am doing it and joy when the dough rises quickly.
Dawn, I love an early meetting and then having the whole day to do whatever i like. My step study is on Sunday mornings after church and I always feels full and filled afterwards like i have accomplished so much and I still have the entire day still ahead of me.
I recall being in the exact same position AS U when Katie was a junior. I had told her I would help her the first 2 years of college, but she was responsible to get the 3rd and 4th year fully funded herself. I got a call 2 weeks into her 3rd year that she was being kept out of class due to a mix up with a scholarship. I wasnt happy but i came through and I have never regretted that decision.
Crystal, I luv SW air. I always take them whenever i can. I try to stick with one airline to get the free miles.
With sticking it out for work and not caving on your man choice, God has given you much fruit for all that pain you went thru last year. U are so blessed.
Connie, you sound so content and i am so happy for your blessings. does Kay love the shop like u do?
Carla, its defrosting here a bit. When are you returning?
Jason, how are you feeling these days? The sun has been bright so my mood has been a bit better. No doubt I have a bit of the winter blues but i get it almost every year and this year it is manageable.
Nancy, hoping you are good and got to enjoy Gage last week.
My day will be hanging out at home til the pm and then the big guy and I will run a few errands in the early afternoon and then come home to rib tips. I love making them in the oven. Yum.
Hugs,
Sharon
Happy Saturday,
Sharon, it looks like you are busy today too. I look forward to my weekends, they always seem to go so fast, I know there will be another in a few days.
We shared some money yesterday at Sam's. It doesn't matter what we go for, we always seem to break the bank. I only needed 3 things, and that is what I got, Hubert on the other hand...... I am glad that we can indulge once in a while.
Today, as I stated yesterday, we are making bread. I am also going to show Morgan how to make beef and noodles. I will be using store bought noodles for it, since I don't want to overload the teenage mind
Get outside today if you can, it is going to be a bit warmer, and right now the sun is showing.
Huggers,
Hi Sharon,
That's okay about the typos, one thing I like about my laptop that I bought a year ago it has a keyboard that lights up when I use it day or night/dark.
I've been there before in someway or another.
I was doing okay for awhile until the announcement about the OH 2015 location was announced three days ago (look at the top on this Illinois Forum, that'll tell you everything), ...that didn't sit well with me, I was really hoping it would come to Chicago this year (2015). I went to the library a few days ago and took out three movie/documentaries to watch, also I put a hold for a Stephen King book (The Colorado Kid) which I hope it come in to the library that's near me by this coming Wednesday (Jan. 21st.) for that reason I'll be going out of town for five (5) nights (I'm looking forward to my trip), which I really need in what I went through in 2014 (three surgeries, two ER visits, rehab for two total joint replacements, and whatever else I went through). If you're wondering where I'll be going for my out of town vacation to Arizona, I can't wait to go. Last time I've been there was a year ago in January of 2014. This vacation that I'm going on is a Christmas present from my two aunts.
Today I went to get my hair trimmed my eyebrows waxed, trimmed, and plucked. For the haircut and eyebrows waxing, trimming, and plucking it came to $10.00 and I gave a $5.00 tip for a total of $15.00, can't beat that. The haircut is $5.00 and the eyebrow waxing is $5.00. I do this every 3 to 6 weeks (or as needed).
Other wise I'm doing okay as of now. I've been doing things here and there to pass the time. I haven't been on here to much lately, if I have, I've been lurking around here off & on for the last few days.
I hope you had a great day today Sharon.
Thank you for thinking about me.
Have a great evening.
