Saturday Roll Call
It is Saturday. There is one more day to the weekend left. Weekends seem to go so fast, even when you get an extra day off
Yesterday, I was busy all morning, but by 12:30 or so, I was in th recliner, where I more or less stayed until we got ready to go out for dinner.
Today, I have a few errands to do, then I will start putting Christmas away. I need to do that, so the season starts to calm down, and to get back into the groove. Plus, I don't want to wait until News Years Day, in case HUbert wants to do something.
New Years Eve we are going for an early dinner, then coming home. I do not like the bar scene that night, nor the noise.
What is happening in your world?
Yes, I believe we are all a bit weary from the fast pace of the holiday. I find myself chilling out more than usual. I also have been around lots of people over the past month who ultimately came down with colds or some weird flu like thing a couple days after seeing them. I think my bod has been spinning away trying to stay healthy. I am blessed so far with nothing that has kept me in bed, but I have been pooped more lately.
Today, G and I are doing our errands this morning, then hopefully sticking close to home until church tomorrow. I made a pot of beans with the ham bone late yesterday. I guess we will enjoy that tonight while watching the Bulls Game.
Enjoy!
