I can't believe it's been 1 month ago today (10-22-2014) since I had my total right knee replacement. Where did the time go? I'm doing great and feeling great. Today I had my second follow-up and I got the staples removed (had 40 staples). Therapy is going great at the rehab place that I'm at. My tentative for release from rehab was for Oct. 24, 2014, it has been changed for Nov. 8, 2014 and the reason for that is that my right knee still needs more therapy and for it to be straighten out and I still to bend it some more too. Oh yeah! I forgot to say that at my appointment today that one of the team members from my surgery team said that someone will come over to the rehab place that I'm at is going to fit me for a "extensionator" (knee brace) to help my right knee to straighten out the rest of the way. My next follow-up is with my surgeon himself on Nov. 6, 2014. I wonder what he has to say by the time for that visit, there is only one way to find out ant that's by going to my follow-up with my surgeon. Each day is a good day for my. My PT and OT is going great, I get it every day Mondays thought Fridays, also I get one of them on Saturdays and the other one on Sundays. I can't wait for my right knee to heal up so I can move on with my life. I can't wait to get my left hip done and I hope I can get it done in the Spring time of 2015. I hope that the Spring of 2015 get here soon so I can move on with my life.
