Hello everyone

Oh yesterday was a busy day for me at work.  But Mondays always are.

I have been having a problems with a pulled muscle or something in my left shoulder for the last week.  Well that seemed to going away.  Today I woke up with the worst neck pain on my right side!!!  What the heck!!!  I am hoping this will subside after a day or two also.  I don't know what is going on.  I never had problems like this before.  I have always been relatively ache free...unless I did something at the gym.  I just don't like having to take so much Tylenol everyday.  I do lug around a heavy purse...maybe I should try down sizing.  I am trying to think of reasons why this is happening.

Well Amanda got a more definitive return date.  It looks like it will probably be August 20th.  This of course could change...we are dealing with a government agency.  But I am so excited I can't stand it.  I am going to throw a big welcome home party.  YEAH!!!

Today...I'm not sure what I am doing after work.  I will see how I am feeling.  I may just go home and rest.  What are you guys doing today?

We are in for some cool weather today.  I am wearing a sweater today.

Well back to work...have a good day all

Hi folks,

Not much new here. I've been at the computer since nine, now it's time to knit a little.

Busy day for me at work too. I am glad I put a pot of soup on this morning. All I have to do is serve it.

Hugs, sorry for the quick flyby.

Good evening Crystal and the rest of Illinois!

I am home, safe and sound.  We had a really good trip.  I learned a lot about Liv's new campus and was assured that this is a good school.  We toured a dorm across the hall from Liv's and each girl has her own bedroom with a common living/kitchen area.  As we were leaving, I realized that we were looking into the window of the dorm that she is assigned and there was a STOVE with oven.  We are hoping that it stays until move-in.

I went to the beach every night and the last two nights, I went south to Pawley's Island, which is residential and completely different from the tourist trap of Myrtle Beach.  My next-door neighbor's family has a huge beach house there and I will definitely consider looking into renting it some time.  It seems expensive at approximately $2000 per week, but it has 6 bedrooms/5 bathrooms and all the comforts of home.  If 3-4 families went together, it would be cheaper than a hotel!  Maybe we should all go!

I had a fantastic time spending my "alone time".  I went to meetings and just enjoyed being alone.  I worked hard on living in the moment and not thinking too much about the future or the past.  If the "hotel" would have been better, it would have been perfect.  Turns out, it was not a hotel but a condo resort and they seemed not to care about customer service for those that had rented "studios".  The window was facing the parking lot and the sidewalk went right next to the window.  The window was 6 feet from the bed.  There was no sheer, just black-out drapes, so the drape had to be shut at all times.  DEPRESSING if I would have allowed such.  Oh well.....live and learn.

Now, I have to get ready for the Open Market on Friday evening.

I am sorry I missed the surprise for Connie and Kay, but I hope you liked the restaurant.  You know I was there in spirit!

Everyone have a great evening!  I will be sending good energy to Watson as he has his hip replaced tomorrow.

Tell someone that you love them!
