Monday Roll Call
Happy Monday,
I see we all made it through another weekend. :)
I slept through most of yesterday. I did a few things I really needed to do, and relaxed. Not what my plans were, but I needed it. This cold is keeping me down some. I am still taking cold tablets, and sucking on cough drops.
Today, I went back to work. It was ok, no problems, and no large amount of kids in the office. So the noise levels were tolable.
What is happening in your world?
Hugs,
Hi friends,
We went to Madison to knit today. It was the first concentrated knitting I've done in a while! Loved it! Also loved seeing my pals--they were really funny today. You know the kind of funny when you get to laughing but if you tried to explain it, it wouldn't seem funny to anyone else. We got home to find the mail had delivered our new license plates: Knit One for me and Purl Two for Kay! Just makes me giggle!
i had a long FB chat with my oldest son. He rarely talks to me. He doesn't "approve" of my life. He also thinks I did a lot of things I never did. His memory is really off and it makes me sad. The other two kids told him to "get over it" but he hasn't seemed to. At least this chat was relatively pleasant, which is unusual. I'll take it!
Hope you had a good day. Monday is almost over!

I am still feeling achey and weird with these shingles. Weird because I have to force myself to get up and moving. Yesterday was our wedding anniversary, and we went out for a late lunch, came home and went to bed. Not very exciting, but we were together. I cannot believe how long it is taking me to feel better. The pain is hanging on, and on and on.........need to just suck it up and move past this.
Today I am watching the babies because my daughter has to work and my son in law is out of town. Until then, I am cleaning and trying to make a dent in my chores.
Wish I had more to say......
Hugs,
Sharon
