Hello everyone

I am feeling quite bored and blah.  I think I am getting to a point that I am trying to do too much or go out so much that when I have any kind of down time I am bored.  I get fidgety.  Even now waiting to go to work.  What the heck.

If my date doesn't back out I will be skydiving Saturday.  I can't believe it.  It sounds like so much fun.  And something I have always wanted to do.  So far we haven't had a normal date...LOL!!!

Today after work I am going out to eat with a friend.  She needs a shoulder to lean on.  She just split up with her boy friend.  I think I can relate.  Hahaha!!!  What's worse, he's practically her neighbor.  So they will be running into each other all of the time.  I would hate that...ugh!!!  I am so lucky.  I never have to worry about that.

Dawn- you start off slow but you will pick up business.  People will return and get more.

Connie-  I saw the picture of your store getting stocked.  Getting closer and closer!!!

Well better get going.  Have a nice day all.  Bye

Good Morning Crystal,

We have a family of Robins in our front yard tree. I seen the nest first the first time on Friday, and yesterday, I watched the new parents take turns going for food. The nest is just high enough, so I can't see into it.

I just called unemployment for the first time this summer. We will see how much I will lose because I get Social Security.Illinois is the last state to dock you for getting benefits. The ARRP organization is fighting the state about it. We shall see. It would be nice if the state would have to pay back all the monies that they denied people like me. But, I don't think that will happen. BTW, I am suppose to get 132 a week, but I normally get only 55 a week, before taxes.

A couple of errands to do today. And a few things to do here in the house. Not sure what is for dinner tonight. I will check the freezer in a bit. Royal Pains are on TV tonight. As well as NICS.

Crystal, I am wishing you luck on Saturday. I could never do it.

Hugs,

Lisa

Hi friends!

Well the last few days we have been working 10 hours or more and these old bodies are having a hard time recovering. We have ten women from Madison coming today for a preview (basically because one of our knitting friends is visiting from PA and won't be here when the store opens). So we have been trying to get as much done as possible so she gets a picture of what the shop will be like. Yesterday a friend hung a picture over the fireplace and as we were admiring it, it fell off the wall and broke the glass all over. At that point we quit for the day. Kay did get a frame at Michaels and today the picture is back  up. Then since these friends are coming to our house for lunch, I was getting extra chairs out of storage and crammed my toe into a piece of furniture. I don't know if it's broken or bruised but it ended my day right there and then! Today I am limping, but moving. We had already decided to take the rest of today off and perhaps tomorrow too. Life is such an adventure!

Crystal, I'm sure you will be great help to your friend. I hope each of you has a wonderful day and that the storms stay our of your way!

Hi Peeps,

Where does the time go??? I tseems I was just here, but it's been 4 days! I am not feeling so good. Bad back pain that has been waking me up at night. It's stress. I went to the chiro and she massaged me today. I hope that helps.

Last night I was getting into my car and looked down and happened upon a baby owl. Oh so fuzzy and cute. He just gazed at me with those big eyes and then high-tailed it under the car. Hope he is ok. First time ever seeing a baby owl.

I am dealing with my addiction issues and how they have effected my life. Spending and eating. I have been going to Celebrate Recovery (CR) meetings a few times a week. Tonight I am going to the New Lenox meeting. It will be my first time there. Tomorrow hopefully Bolingbrook. I learned a couple days ago, my issues have created a legal ramification for me and I am very stressed about that.

Crystal, you will love Cherette, she is very good. Tell her I said hi!

Dawn, I love the Sister Wives show and they are trying to get a jewelry business off the groud. It isnt easy. But if it works, how awesome.

Connie, it sounds exciting for you and Kay. The store is going from the dream to this amazing reality. Bravo!

Lisa, I dont think these bones could handle a cold shower, even in this heat!

Carla, I am looking forward to hanging when you get into town.

Hello, Connie and Jason.......

Hugs everyone,

Sharon

They have a Celebrate Recovery event every Friday night in Rockford at Heartland Community Church.  I have never been.  I DID attend Heartland when I was in treatment, but the service was not for me.  I might check it out if I am ever in town on a Friday evening.  Interesting.

Tell someone that you love them!

Hey Dawn,

For me it has been a God-send. If you go to their website there is a lot of information. I am waiting for the next step study to begin so I can start that too.  It begins with 3-4 worship songs, then someone share their testimony, then we break into small groups and share what is going on. If you try it, you may enjoy. The best part is total acceptance. Hugs, Sharon
