Tuesday Roll Call
We/me have been so busy. Serving at church, work, family time, medical, visiting Cantigny, travel, training and more training tomorrow. This past week-end (Sunday) was our 40th anniversary. We spent Friday through Monday afternoon in the Loop going to the Lincoln Park Conservatory, zoo (I never get tired of this zoo), double decker bus tour, Sound of Music, walk, walk, walk (over 25 miles), awesome food, learning to take pictures with the new camera, enjoying the weather and city (as we always do) and reflecting on our years together.
Now, I am looking forward to the training with the Chief's Admin Assistant tomorrow. Saturday I have a pick-up for my flowers from the local garden club and I guess I will be putting them in the containers on Sat/Sun. In addition to that I need to get my square foot boxes ready for my veggies. I planted garlic last fall and it is coming up wonderfully.
This morning while I was getting ready for work my late mom and sister - Grace "visited" me in the form of a hummer at my feeder. You see my mom and sister (both named Grace) loved and attracted these little flying "jewels" to our homes.
