Hello everyone

I have some running around today not much.  And then some cleaning around here and make some laundry detergent and dish washer soap.  Yep I am still making my own cleaning products and it's wonderful. Then That's it for my "have to's".  I think I will just be a lazy lump the rest of the day.  Maybe I will watch some movies and pig out on peanut butter!!!  I don't know.  I am soooo dying for a yard....I want to do some yard work....I know you guys think I'm nuts.  Well what's your plans today???

I don't know about you guys but I so enjoyed the weather this week.  It was such a relief.  A breath of fresh air.  A friend of mine and I went for a nice long walk the other day and it was so nice to feel the sun and the warmth....ahhhh.

I have no plans tomorrow.  My daughter is out of the country and I have no Mother's Day plans (I can't wait till she's back in the good ole' USA)...I hope you all have a fantastic Mother's Day.

Back to enjoying my Saturday...hope you all enjoy yours....see ya later!!!

Hi Crystal and IL,

Yeterday I went to my second funeral in 3 months where a young adult man died unexpectedly. So very sad. The church was in Bronzeville neighborhood in the city and I had no idea the area was so lovely. I worked in Bronzeville 30 years ago and it wasnt that great then. Good to see.

Watched grandbabies afterwards. So wonderful to spend time with them regularly again. Then we made a fire last night and just hung out.

Today I am hoping to run a few errands and grill some wings.

My daughter asked me what I want for Mother's Day and I told her I wanted to celebrate the morning together at my church. So that will be the bright spot in my day tomorrow. I miss my mom.

Please enjoy this gorgepus spring day the Lord has given you.

Hugs,

Sharon

Crystal I make my own cleaning products as well and love the clean smell instead of smelling chemicals.

Happy Saturday Everyone!

It is another beautiful day outside!  The rain this week really greened up everything!  Crystal, if you are hankering for yard work, hop in your car and drive west on I 80 for about an hour to LaSalle.  You can work in my yard to your hearts content.  I have some plants to plant and weeds to weed

I would even let you play with some cute kitties.

The more I read on the environment, the more I realize how wise you are in making your own cleaning products.  The stuff that is in things is really nasty!

Sharon, I really miss my parents as well  I have been wanting to go to the cemetery for a long time.  It is in Ohio and I had hoped to get there when we went to the family reunion last year but there was not time  Last week my sister visited the cemetery and sent me a picture of the gravesites and I burst into tears.  I did not realize just how much I have wanted to visit.

Things are better at work now.  There have been many cuts but now my job does not seem to be on the line.  That sure is a relief.  I am no longer on a final warning.

Sharon, I am so glad you are having time to spend with the grandkids now   You are sounding like your old self.

Lisa, I cannot wait to hear about your cruise.

Dawn, this sure has been a few weeks of lasts and lots of memories with the kids.  Lots of BIG events.  You sound happy and content   I am so happy for you.

Connie, it sounds like your shop plans are moving right along.  The next 2 months will fly by and then your store will be open!

I hope everyone has a great Mothers day

Jason, I hope your pain eases and that you can manage your pain so that you can get some relief!

Good evening Nancy,

Long day today, I passed my Digital Photography class today. I learned a lot over the 6 classes.

The pain in my right knee is doing okay, but it has it moments.

After class I spent some time with my aunt to do a few things today and now I'm resting for the rest of the day.

I hope all is well with you.

Have a great evening.
