Saturday Roll Call
Happy Saturday.
Carla, Ray Bans are great! We all deserve to indudge in stuff.
Crystal, you are so right. The only way to go forward, is not to look back. Also, before you started dating Chris, you were looking around. Someone else is looking for you.
Lisa, we did get to Soulard yesterday. Love it as ususal.
Connie, I finally got so black licorice, Switzers, of course. There is a shop in Soulard called, "Made in St. Louis". About the only thing they don't carry is Goody Butter Cake.
We had a nice evening on Thursday with best friend Linda and her chef son. We went to Red Lobster, and then the guys both went home, and she and I went to a friends house to surprise her. A great visit, but I didn't get back to the hotel until after midnight. Then Friday we started off with breakfast with a group of my high school friends, We got home abut 6:30 last night.
Today I want to get some plants in, finalize the clothes I want to take on the cruise, do some errands and pick up the house. We will see what gets done.
Have a great day,
Hugs
Good morning,
I'd love to check out that St. Louis shop next trip to STL.Sounds like fun. I always stop at Straub's for a mini=gooey butter cake. There's one in the central west end.
Today we are going to check out another place we might want to rent for the store. It's slightly bigger but already finished and it's really cute! More on this later. I hope we'll know today if the landlord is interested. This one kept us awake last night thinking, thinking, thinking!
Have a great day and enjoy the beautiful weather!
Connie

Hello everyone
Today I have my dinner theater outting with friends!!!! I am excited...it looks like fun. In the meantime I am have cleaning and deciding a few things. I have decided to give my bedroom a make over... I got the idea yesterday when I was at JC Penney. I past through the bedding section and saw a comforter set I really liked and thought...why not??? So Next month that will be my small little project. I am going to redecorate my bedroom....this excites me too.
I was also thinking of taking a weekend road trip to Champaign. They have awesome thrift shops and used book stores and a great farmers market. I also miss the Co-op there. And there is an outlet mall about 30 miles south of there. I think it would be a great way to spend a day. I just wish I can convince someone to come with me.
I have been having trouble sleeping this week. Rather than turn to medicine. I decided to try essential oils. I have read many times how certain essential oils can soothe you (or invigorate you). So I took my candle wax warmer....and some plain wax....and a few drops of jasmine. I have to say I did sleep better.
Lisa- you know I have never been to St Louis. You make it sound interesting.
Connie- I really wish we were closer. I soooo want to learn to knit. I would make your shop one of my first stops....road trip!!!
Have a wonderful Saturday all
