I would think that after 12 days.....The pain would be getting less...It's in the area that all the tools went in ...But really it needs to stop hurting.

It's been a bad few days

Hi Cindy,

I had VSG and the pain got worse before it got better. I'd say my peak pain was week 2-3, which is about where you are. I recall week3-4 it was better but not gone.

Hang in there.

Hugs,

Sharon

I hope so...I also gave up on pain meds..they were not helping. My body rejects any narcotic based meds. so I'm struggling. I keep thinking about Dori....Just keep swimming

Call Steve Heuer and tell him. They don't want you in pain. Connie

Hi Cindy~!

I remember the same thing.  the incision on the left side that is a little bigger hurt FAR longer than anything else.  I remember Dr. Garren telling me it was because that is where all the tools (including stapler!) went in and out.  It WILL get better, but I would call just to see if there is anything they can do.  Plus, they want to know.

Tell someone that you love them!

I have called...they say it sounds normal. I have 2 week apt tomorrow. I'm sure I'm just being whimpy.

Thank you for all the words of support
