Good morning everyone,

Saturday is here and so is the weekend. Not sure what I'll do for today since I'm still recovering from surgery, I'll play it by ear for today. I do have a follow up with my surgeon on March 27th to have a checkup and to have my stitches removed, I can't wait. I'm just taking each day one at a time. I still have pain, but not as much during the first few days to the first week after surgery, but I do get more pain at night when I'm in bed when I'm laying. I guess it has to do with the swelling, soreness, and from the stitches.

My week went good. I guess I don't have much to say on this Saturday morning. I did enjoy the nice weather yesterday in the 50's degrees range, I took a few walks yesterday. How is everyone's week went for you?

Well...I better get going and get some breakfast. I'll think in what I'll do for today. Take care and have a great and safe weekend everyone.

Jason.

Good Morning Jason and Everyone.

Jason, it sounds like you are doing really good. Keep doing whatever it is you are doing.

Aren't we all awesome! Just think of all the trials we all have been through and what we all have been able to accomplish.

I was going to go get my hair cut this morning, but decided to wait. I did it differently yesterday, and I liked the way it turned out. I have been letting it go curly the last year or so, and yesterday I flat ironed it. New hairdo for free.

Main computer (desk top) was down yesterday. After spending an hour on the phone with a tec, I asked for a service call. Now this morning everything is working fine. Except the wifi. I will call and see if I can get it going before I cancel the call.

Have a few things to do this morning before we head for Bloomington this evening.

Have a great day.

Huggers,

Lisa

Good morning Lisa,

It does sounds like I'm doing really good. I will.

I found one thing to do and that is the a little bit I'll make my way over to Best Buy to get a Cyndi Lauper CD, and take my day from there. I might on the Chicago Public Library website and put a hold on a few book that be sent over to the library that's near me that I wanted to take out for some time now.

So very indeed true that we're all awesome. I know that one trail that I hope to accomplish with my two aunts by the time September 20th, 2014 comes around, my two aunts and I hope will do the "CCWAA (Conquer Chiari Walk Across America) 2014" It's a 5K walk. One of the sites will be held at: Carl Hansen Woods (Grove 1) Rt 59 between Shoe Factory Rd. & Golf Rd. Hoffman Estates, IL. 60195. That is if nothing changes between now and then.

Cool that you waited on the hair cut and you like the way you did you hair yesterday, great to hear.

Sorry to hear about you main computer went down yesterday. Good luck in getting you computer fixed.

Good luck and have a great and safe day today.

Jason glad to see you are doing well since surgery.

I had Euflexxa injected in the right knee on Wednesday, hurt like nothing I can describe. I also have 2 more to take, the are given in a series of three.  I am not looking forward to them, but in the long range if they do the job it will all be worth it.

I have got back on track with the lap band and have lost 8 pounds in the last 2 weeks. I am happy about this. My goal is to have weight off to make the hip replacement surgery go better for me as far as my health.

I have been measuring everything and all my meals are based on the protein first, then I add my veggies. I try to really limit the carbs as they are not my friend. I do have small amounts of things like pasta, bread ect... but I won't go out of my way for them.

I actually feel better, except for this nasty cold and headache... Well time to start thinking about whats for dinner, Lisa's ROD sounds good, but not sure the Hub would eat it so I will save that one for when he's back on the rode next week.

Hub got home last night and he hasn't been here since Thanksgiving, so he had

loads of laundry, took it all to the laundromat last night so it's done. I hate his job ( OVR Truck Driver) but it pays the bills! So I deal with it.

Later friends gotta run! Or walk slowly as I do! LOL

Have a Nice Day!

~Karen

Thank you Karen, me too.

Sorry to hear that you are having pain in your right knee, I hope the Euflexxa helps your knee out. I wish you the best with the two more rounds you have left for your right knee. I bet you don't look forward in getting the shots, I bet it is worth it.

That's great to hear that you are 8 pounds. I bet you're happy, I know I would be. I know you'll make it to your goal for your hip replacement surgery.

I measure my food too and get my protein in too for ally meals. Sounds like you're doing good with the foods.

I hope you feel better soon form your nasty cold and headache. Same here about dinner, Lisa's ROD does sound good.

I did my laundry a few days ago, but it had to be done, I didn't want my dirty laundry to start walking, if that happen...it'll take me to the Laundromat to have me washed (I don't want that to happen). All of us hates a job (ours or someone's else job), but the way I see it it's another day another pay.

Have a great day and weekend Karen, as the saying goes...slow and steady wins the race.
