Friday Roll Call
Good Morning.
We have sunshine! A rare spring day. We will take it.
I am heading to the store, then home for some chores that need done. Tonight we are going to a cruise meeting, our cruise is in 6 weeks.
Tomorrow night we were invited to a hockey game in Bloomington. Hubert took off Sunday so we can stay out later.
Other then that, I am sure we are all busy with our daily life. Have a good weekend.
Hugs,
LISA
Hello everyone
I am so stressed about work...I need to just take a deep breath and stop. I had the day off and I worried about taking the day off. I had trouble sleeping last night because I worried. Ugh... Then I came into work today I was told that things were in a bit of chaos because I was gone. They were trying to find people to fill in and do all the little things I do when I'm there. And my co-worker said they would be crazy to get rid of you. So that made me feel so much better. I keep telling myself the worst thing that can happen is they fire me and I have been through joblessness...and it turned out for the best. So I am really trying to let go of the stress.
The good news...the small weight gain I mentioned. I lost it. I weighed in this morning and I am down 6lbs. Woohoo!!! See I just have to workout and cut out the snacking.
Dawn- I am so happy to see you on the board again. I missed you.
Jason- It seems like your not letting post-op slow you down.
Today after work I am going to pick up some stuff at Target. And then I am going to Chipotle. That's it for me. I see it will be a beautiful day...I even wore a short sleeve shirt. Yesterday I ordered a pair of sandals...I was dreaming of Summer. Ahhhhh.
Well back to work. See ya later....Bye
Hello Crystal M.,
Sorry to hear that you're stressed about work, stress is no good...sounds like a good idea to do. Wow! Really? I'm kind of the same way about sleep and being worried about something, I'm that type of person that worries to much over something. Wow! No wonder you are worried. What a great co-worker you have. You're co-worker made your day. Good luck with work.
That's great about the good news.
You got that right that I'm not letting post-op slow me down. Taking each day one at a time.
Have a great day.

Good morning Lisa and the rest of Illinois!
I am up and at 'em this morning! I went for a half an hour walk with my neighbor, am checking the computer, then shower and off to Rockford. I hope to make a meeting before my IOP assessment. Afterwards, I have a coupon for Half Price Books and I might stop by the library. I am feeling good and positive!
The cake I made looks NOTHING like the picture and even though I followed directions, I have a TON of caramel left over. It is sitting just waiting for someone to cut into it and try it. I hope they like it. After making the caramel, I am not going anywhere near it. The caramel was 1 cup of butter, 2 cups of brown sugar, 1/2 c. whole milk and 6 cups of powdered sugar! UGH! Makes me ill just thinking about it. The family will like it.
Not sure what's for dinner, will have to think on it.
Everyone have a splendid day!
So, so busy with work, bleh! I am still here right now, been here since 7 this morning. I have a 5:00 meeting and then I am out of here after that.
It looks so nice outside! My daughter has been home from college this week so tomorrow before she goes back we need to go shopping for anything that she needs for the next couple of months. I need to shop for some tops too. Sunday, I hope to relax!
Enjoy the fresh air!
