Sunday Roll Call
Happy Sunday! There is no sleeping in for me even with loosing an hour overnight. It is just not how my brain and body are wired. I have a pot of turkey soup to be made later on today. We had a small bone in turkey breast last Sunday. I froze the carcus this past week for the soup. The veggies are already cut to put in plus I have the other dry ingredients on the counter ready to go into the pot.
What is going on in your corner of IL today?

Hello everyone
I was at Chris's house all day and will be there all day again today. So things need to get done. I never know how things are going to go down at work. The over time might start up again this week. So I want to get as much done this morning before the week starts and before I go to Chris's house.
So I already ran to pick up some groceries and pick up my newspaper. I threw in my laundry and cleaned my bathroom. I am now about to go workout.
Chris's sister is treating us to a home cooked dinner and delivering it to his house. How nice is that.
I am not looking forward to going to work tomorrow...UGH!!! There was a time I liked my job. It's sad that it had to change. I keep hoping it will change once the dust settles from all the changes it will go back to the way it was. To show you how bad things are...we have lost 5 people in 3 months in a department of 20. People have just quit and walked off the job. I can't do that!!! I just want my old work environment back.
Well time to go sweat...see ya. Bye
Good Morning,
I am on my new Ipod Air. So far I can't see any thing to dislike about it. I also got the keyboard cover for it. That is really nice.
Yesterday, I did my errands, then went to the $ Tree. I love that store, but I need to stay away from it! $27 later, I came home. 10 new solar stakes, 12 packs of zinna seeds, 4 cards, 2 cans of soup, a small waste can and a few other things. All I really went there for was a gift bag and a balloon.
Nancy, I really feel for you. I got a bill Friday from a Dr. in Hoffman Estates that just sent the bill from last April. We has never received a statement from him. I will pay it, but I am going to call him tomorrow and see who he is.
Chris, your soup sounds great. I was thinking about it too, but we aren't going to be home today.
Crystal, You are a great employee and they know it. Sometimes bosses just need to remind you that they are the boss...
Also, yesterday, our furnace went out. Hubert looked at it when he came home, but we still had to call the service, He knew what was wrong, but didn't have the part. Anyway, the guy came out, and stuck the new part in, and left. All in about 5 min. Lets see, $ 150 for the part, 190 for the call, hmmm. Kidding aside, when we called, he was here within 20 min. We do a lot of business with this company. Their bills get paid the day they arrive, so they do come out whenever we need them.
Hugs, enjoy the sun, spring is less then 2 weeks away.

Hello and happy Sunday everyone,
How's everyone doing on this fine Sunday day? Just keeping busy today. I did a some things this morning and I just did some apartment cleaning and now taking a rest now. I have things to do tomorrow like laundry, go to the Social Security Office, wait for someone to come over with some BiPAP supplies, more apartment cleaning, and whatever else needs to be done before I go to the hospital this Tuesday for my Chiari surgery. By this time on Tuesday I should be done with surgery or just going into surgery or having the surgery or almost done with surgery that is if it doesn't get bumped or let along cancelled while I'm at the hospital or get the call on the phone that tell me that like the day before or the day of the surgery. I know I'll get a phone call to let me know in what time to come to the hospital the day before the surgery which will be tomorrow (I think I'll get that call between 2:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m.). Wish me luck that the surgery does happen and that all goes well for me and that nothing goes wrong with the surgery and that nothing happens to me. I just can't believe it that I have at least up to four (4) surgeries if not any more then that to go. When all is said and done with whatever surgeries that I have done the road for me I'll be like a Thanksgiving Turkey on Thanksgiving.
Have a great day and week everyone. Take care. Time for me to into the sunset of this week. It's time for me to tell this week to (bring it).
