Thursday Roll Call
Happy Thursday to all of Lincoln Land! I finished my data entry for the project last night at home. Now to take it back on a thumb drive and copy over to my PC at work, The only thing left is counting the different categories and creating the charts for my years worth. I will need to work with the charts as I have never done them before. I guess the tutorials will become my friend today.
What is going on in your neck of the woods?

Good Morning, It seems like just yesterday we were saying goodby to January, now feb. is all but over.
I have a lot to do today on my must do list. At least I will be not be going anywhere today.
Yesterday I got up late, which made me late for work, not much, but late anyway. Then after work I went to Hobby Lobby to get some colored sugar I needed. While there I looked for "Looking Glass Paint". I wanted to try it on a small table top. I decided I didn't need it when I seen it was $12.99 a can. That project isn't going to happen.
No plans for this weekend. Of course, that can change.
Have a great cold day!
Huggers,
Hello everyone
I think there might be a light at the end of my tunnel. Yep I have been able to cut back on my overtime this week. I am down to about 50-55 hours and I think I might be able to get away with not working this weekend or at least not working much. The money has been good but as many of you remember I used to work two jobs and worked 70+ hours a week for years...I am done with that. I haven't been able to workout and that's not good.
I also will be canceling my cable this week if I can find the time (I have to return the equipment too). Chris hooked up my Roku and I love it. I just don't spend that much time watching TV and when I do it's not new programming. So I am cutting that cable ties. I mean if it doesn't work out I can always re-hook up. But frankly I don't see myself missing it much or the bill. I will keep the internet. That I would die without...LOL!!!
I have a package I have been working on for Amanda. I just never have time. This weekend I want to make her some brownies. The last batch went over big. So I anticipate sending the package out next week. I am sending her girl scout cookies and chips and Easter candy. And a flash drive loaded with a bunch of TV shows. She will be extactic!!!
I also got a Costco membership.
That's all my news from this week...boring I know.
Today after work I will be doing groceries and then working from home and that's about it. I will be eating leftovers...oven fried chicken. Made with yogurt instead of eggs. My life in a nutshell. Work...chores...errands...LOL.
Well I better get back to work...stay warm and wish for Spring!!!
I am just resting till after I drive the PM bus route then going to watch my grand daughter at dance tonight. It's watch week and she asked me to come. Normally I do not go. I would rather get in my warm jammies when I am off the bus. Oh well one night won't kill me! I am getting ready to start back to my Pysanky Egg classes. March 11th. I find this so relaxing. I have an ostrich and lots of duck eggs to decorate for Easter to give to the kids on the bus for gifts. I gave them all eggs for Christmas and they were excited. I made a special one for one mom because she was having some personal issues and she will still hug me when she sees me. Well not much going on here just like everyone else in Illinois just trying to stay warm.
Have a nice day!
~Karen
