Morning  And this too will pass . . .  just as the sun will rise in the east. Boring day ahead of me. 3 clerks in the room and not much work. I guess I will dive into checking case status for a paperwork destruction with the State. Which = a lot of monitor time and the eyes going batty. What is going on in your corner of IL today?

good Morning,

I am stuck at home today, Cannot get anyone to open up the driveway. Plus, Hubert told me to stay home and not drive on our local highways, since they are drifting and snow/ice covered.

So, I will stay home and get coat one done on my built in cabinets in the dining room.

I am planning on the meet and greet on Sunday. Sharon, this sounds crazy, but when I loked at the page for where we are going, i thought it said 3p.m. opening on Sunday. Did I misread this? I am asking my cousin Cynthia to come. She will have her surgery within a few weeks, and I want her to meet everyone.

Heres hoping we see the grass by spring. This is getting old fast.

Hugs,

Lisa

Hello everyone

I was tired yesterday and made it to 9pm and fell asleep.

Work is still craziness.  Yesterday I was so stressed because I thought I made this major mistake...but then it was proved that I couldn't have done it.  It is some kind of system glitch.  I was so stressed that I was going to get yelled at....ugh.  I have worked overtime before but the difference here is taking stuff home to do more at home.  So I never get a a break!!!!

I am hoping that it is only going to be the month of february and then I am done with this overtime crap.  I think I will be caught up by then.

Chris is getting sick with that stomach bug his kids had.  And of course he's been around me.  I am hoping I don't get it.  This would be a terrible time for me to get sick.  I don't think it could take time off for sickness.

Well I better get going...have a good day.  Bye

Good Morning!

My street was not plowed at all this morning. I was able to get through just fine, but made me go "huh?". I only drive a mile to work so I did not have a problem getting here like most people.

Hoping today is a quiet one here! Well...other than the ice falling off of the building and hitting the windows. Some big chunks flying down.

Good morning,

We didn't get much snow--maybe 2 or 3 inches. I know you all to the south got more. I don't think it will be a problem to get out today so I am going to the Wed knitting group. I started a Valentine scarf yesterday andhave only about 30 rows left. It was mostly stockinette stitch. Now I am doing the lace part but I could get it done today if there aren't too many new knitters needing help.

I decided to dress in my pale aqua boiled wool jacket today. It looks springy but it's warm. I thought it might cheer up the folks with winter blues. I usually get depressed by this time of year but we have had so much sun with the cold that having the sun in my eyes most of the day has really helped. (One of the chairs at the yarn shop gets significant sun).

Sunday we go to Madison so Kay can go to a Garden Expo and I will go take a knitting class. We'll stay over for Guild on Monday. Love to spend time in Madison!

Have a good day,

Connie

Hi Peeps,

My corner of the world is frigid and has lots of snow.

I have been working from home this morning and have a webex at 12:30 for an hour. After that I am going to try and get into the office.

I never made it to house group last night. After a white-knuckle drive home on I-88, I was too stressed to drive anymore. It was nice just to come home and chill and go to bed early.

I am surrounded by the 4 pawed babies. What a nice way to be home.

Connie, I love boiled wool and your blue jacket sounds lovely. I will miss you and Kay on Sunday.

Lisa, it will be nice to meet somoene who is about to have the surgery. What kind is she thinking about?

G will be coming on Sunday. We are greeters on Sunday at church but will get out about 11:30a. That will leave us enough time to get to Aurora.

Crystal, I am so sorry you are going through so much at work. I know that can of stress effects everything. Please take it easy. You can only do the best you can. Your compnay knows you are a good employee. I will keep praying for a stress free work environment.

Hugs to everyone else.

Sharon

Today is a good day.  This morning was stressful with getting the kids to school and the hubby to the train, but we made it.  I was only about 15 minutes late to work...I love being able to work from home from time to time.

I got wonderful news today....my first appointment has been moved up to March 5th!!  This is with the nurse practicioner.  I'm so excited.  Did any of you have your surgery at Northwestern?

I hope everyone has a good day and stays safe and warm.
