Tuesday Roll Call

It was snowing by us at about 3:45 when I left work. By the time I got home it had doubled in the intensity (10 minutes later). It is now not melting on metal and street surfaces by me.

Long work day for me today, very glad to be home.

That roast recipe sounds great, I am going to copy that down and make it this weekend. Thanks!

Hope everyone stays safe with the snow. I guess shoveling in the morning is in my future. I am okay with that, great exercise!

Hello Everyone!

Well I have decided to add the word snow to my 4 letter cuss words!     That is about all it is good for!  I am not looking forward to waking up tomorrow and seeing how much snow we have.  I know I still have to go to work as the world would come to an end if we ever closed.  Or at least that is what all the bean counters think.  

Yesterday was a rude awakening as I left home at -11 degrees.  I surely did not expect it to be that cold!  

I am still working overtime this week.  My tail is dragging tonight.  I could go to bed early.  

I hope everyone stays safe in their travels the next few days.  It is not the greates out there tonight.  

The cats even have cabin fever.  Yesterday, they put up such a fuss that Rick finally opened the door to the catio just to shut them up.  They are still very interested in ping pong games in the bathtub.  Usually there are three of them taking turns batting the balls to each other.  They love this game!  They get so enthusiasic sometimes that the ball goes flying out of the tub only to get batted to a hidden area for the parents to find.  I guess they consider us their retrievers!  

We had Crystals, sloppy joe casserole yesterday.  It really was yummy!  We will have that again.  Tonight was chicken.  

I hope to join in on Sunday but it will depend on the weather.
