Hi Friends,

It was nice to wake up to the sun today. Finally, the snow stopped and the streets look clear. I guess Phil the ground-hog predicts 6 more weeks of winter. Big surpise!

I am going to church and then I have a leadership meeting afterwards. I am going to make a pot of chili before I leave and put it in the crockpot. I also will grill some wings later. Watch a little football and thts about it for me today.

What's going on in your neck of the woods?

Crystal you sound busy and stressed. One day at a time my dear one.

Everyone, you are in my prayers. Enjoy this day God has given us.

Hugs,

Sharon

Good evening Carla,

Sorry to hear about your knee. I hope you feel better soon.

It's good to see the sun today.

I'm sorry that I didn't call, I got busy today taking care of things and I lost time today. I guess I have to get my flux capacitor, time circuits, and delorean ready and get ack the time I missed today.

Just to let you know that I can't make it to the meeting this Sunday, something came up that I have to take care. Once again I'm sorry that I can't make it.

Good Morning,

Carla and Sharon, have you decided where you want to meet next Sunday?

Carla, I hope your knee gets better. Sharon, enjoy your day.

I want to finish coat one of my painting today, as well as a few other things.I decided on a ham steak for dinner, twice baked potatoes, corn on the cob and a large salad.

Was there any dout that Phil would see his shadow? Spring will come in less then 50 days.

Our cruise is coming up fast. about 12 weeks from now.

Hugs,

Lisa

Good morning,

I don't have much planned for today except to watch the game. I'll probably do a load of wash and some knitting. Otherwise, not much is going on. It's nice to see the sun! And of course we who live in the north know there are at least six more weeks of winter, if not 8 or 9. Big surprise!

Have a great day!

Connie

Well, I've survived my long trip to Florida.  I got home late on Wednesday night and Thursday I hung out with Ryan and then I worked on Friday.  I haven't left my house since then.  I've had to do a lot of laundry.  Today I plan on doing some more relaxing and crocheting.  Maybe watch the game with Ryan.  I promised Maddie I would help her with her Spanish flash cards.  That should be interesting...  I know very little Spanish.  Later!

Hello everyone

I made a cheesecake yesterday and I can't believe how easy it is with a stand mixer instead of a hand mixer.  Wow...it was so nice.

I didn't work all day yesterday, just part of the day.  I was being lazy and just couldn't get going.  I did get the cheesecake made and the house cleaned.  This morning I woke up and I did the laundry.  I also  ran over to Jewel.  I am eating lunch right now....then I can work the rest of the day.  I figure I will work till bedtime.  So that's my plan.

I am not seeing Chris this weekend the kids have the stomach flu and he has to work so I figured I will stay away.  I was going to come over with stomach flu items...Sprite, crackers...but Chris said why expose myself.  I am super busy and I am able to get some stuff done.  I was just going to work there anyway.  And I just can't get sick right now...ugh!!!  So I will see him tomorrow.

Last night my neighbor made me soooo angry.  He had some kind of machine or power tool going till after 2:30am.  He had it going at 11pm when I went to bed.  I woke up 1am and it was still going and couldn't fall back asleep because of the noise.  I finally put cotton in my ears to drown out the noise.

Well Bcak to lunch...have a good day.  Bye

Crystal, Next time you are at Walmart get yourself one of those cushy pairs of ear plugs and keep them in your night stand. They work great. I used to wear them all the time before G got a c-pap machine. Getting sleep will keep your stress levels down and your cortisol levels down ( hi levels contribute to belly fat ) Be well my friend. Hugs

Crystal, I love my stand mixer...and so do the kids!!  I don't think I would ever use the hand mixer again!
