Friday Roll Call

Our dinner party was canceled due to weather on Thursday because they could not get out of IA due to the snow, rescheduled to tonight and that was canceled. We are so  bummed. We will be reimbursed for all that we bought. Still not the same as we wanted to meet the guys from Russia and share our home and hospitality with them.

OH changed come of the options in the tool bar above. Why do they not tell us these things? Plus I like more options for colors.

Laundry is on the list for the week-end and that is it.

Hi folks,

I also went to the grocery store because of the snow and I also needed some rye bread. I bought Limburger cheese in Monroe, WI last Sunday after tasting it on Saturday. So I made a sandwich with rye, onion, mustard and cheese. I thought it was great! We had a special mustard we bought in Germany which was perfect! Tonight we went to Social and had shrimp and grits and we'll be having more tomorrow. I guess we will watch the SuperBowl at home, but Kay will want to watch Downton Abbey.

The yarn store had no power this AM so I didn't go till afternoon. I hope the snow lets us get there tomorrow! At least I have enough yarn to deal with whatever snow arrives. Stay safe everyone. Drive carefully!

Hello Eveyont!

I too have been MIA  I have been working extra hours all week.  It has not been bad so I signed up for next week as well.  The money will be nice!

I want to go into hiding especiall when I saw the forecast.  I too am so sick of winter.  Ugh!  Someone needs to take pity on us.  

Lisa  and Joan, welcome, welcome, welcome!    We always love meeting new people!  You have found a great group of people!  Joan, I grew up in Urbana so I am a central Il girl as well. 

I am the group cat lady who is owned by 6 cats.  One is still a kitten and gets into everything!  I work in customer service and live with my boyfriend Rick.  I do not have any kids but Rick has a son and daughter.  Gabe is a freshman at Augustana College.  His daughter Angie lives in the Atlanta GA area. 

I hope everyone has a great weekend.  If we get enough snow, maybe we wont have to work on Monday.  I am rooting to go ahead and dump enought to get us homebound.
