Thursday Roll Call
Good Morning.
I decided to clean out a small chest this morning. I tossed most of the junk in it. It is good.
I will be doing some pick up this morning, as well as going to Wally World to get a few things I need. I decided it is time to dump my waffle iron for a new one. The one we have, we got for a wedding shower gift over 48 years ago. The thermostat has some issues, so a new Belgium Waffle Iron is needed. I also need a few other things. I can forsee a large amount of $$ going out today.
Are we ready for another bout of snow? NO!
Jason, why not join us on the 9th for a meet and greet?
Sharon, I am not familar with the area around the outlet mall, but I can ask my daughter, she might know of something .
Carla, I am excited to see you again. It has been a long time.
What is everyone up to?
Hugs,
Good morning Lisa,
Sounds like you have your morning planned out for today. I need to do some cleaning around my place.
Good luck for your mornng today in the things you need to do. Wow! 48 years for the waffle iron, that's a long time. When you go to Wally World today and you see Clark Griswold (Chevy Chase) and his family tell them I said "hi".
I'm not ready for another bout of snow. I wish Spring would get here already.
I'm not sure I can make it, I wish I can. I don't think I've ever been out to Aurora and I don't have a way out there. I don't own a vehicle. I myself am not familar with the area around the outlet mall.
I've got some stuff to do around my apartment which I'll do off & on for the week while I'm taking care of my aunt's two dogs this week. I might go up to Starbucks today at some point to get some hot chocolate or something. Also play it by ear on other things for the rest of this week in what to do as far as my apartment goes in what needs to be done.
Have a great day and stay warm everyone.

Hi Lisa and Friends,
I must be a wack-a-doodle because this morning driving in, I had my window open to get in the fresh air. I saw a few people doing the same thing. I think we are getting acclimated to this cold. My thermastat indicated it was 25! LOL Heat wave. The wind is dastardly though.
Today is my last day of cray due to end of year. I hope I can complete everything so I dont have to come in tomorrow. I have to take the Meows to the beauty parlor and coming in will put a kink in my plans.
Tonight I am attending an annual birthday party for a dear friend. He is one of my many single friends and we always have a big shindig for him because he is single and his family is non-existent. He's going to be 65 and we are going to just love on him and feed him and just have a gay old time....no pun intended. I have many gay male friends who are older and alone. It makes me sad. It seems men have a harder time when they get older finding a forever mate.
I am off to eat. I am trying to eat every 2 hours. I seem to get dizzy and light-headed if I do not. Old age is a crime against mature people!
Hugs,
Sharon
Sharon, eating something every couple of hours is good. I try to do that on weekends and as often when I work as possible.
I have a number of gay friends, both male and female, and I agree with you. But, I also think straight people have just as much of a problem as we get older, and lose so many of our peers. It really doesn't matter which you are, older people tend to get lonely.

Really Carla? Don't get me wrong, that'll be great since I don't own a car. I'm 4 blocks from California Ave., I'm right across from the Addison Mall that's on the corner of Addison St. and Sacramento Ave.. Is that close to you? Can I let you know if I go or not one day next week? How soon do you need to know by if I go or not?
Thank you in advance Carla.
Jason.
