Wednesday Roll Call.
Good morning everyone,
How is everyone on this fine day of the week that we call "Hump Day"? I have good new...I just got a phone call from the hospital and I got penciled in for March 11, 2014 for my Chiari surgery. Now I can look forward to the surgery and move on with my life. I'm so happy that I have a surgery date and happy that my x-rays from December 30, 2013 came out okay. I just don't know what else to say about the call I got this morning, but I'm just happy now that I got a surgery date.
My aunt brought over her two dogs this morning for me to care for for the rest of the week while she takes care stuff with her job. I'll take it easy the rest of the day today. I might get some coffee to drink or some hot chocolate to drink soon.

Jason, finally! It seems like forever that you have been trying to schedule this surgery. I hope no more delays.
I had a chance to speak to Carla yesterday and we are tentatively planning a meet and greet on 02/09 which is a Sunday. We are thinking in Aurora off I-88 by the outlet mall. It is tentative only because of this weird weather. If the weather cooperates we are on. Can anyone think of a place to eat around there? Is that a central location? Carla is coming from the northside of Chicago. I will travel wherever.
I am sick of freezing at night so last night on the way home from work I bought a wool blanket and another cotton blanket. Finally, we are toasty. The wind and weather are making our room feel like a meat locker. The bedroom faces the north east side, Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.
I know it's cold and everyone is busy but I am hoping to see anyone who is willing to saunter out on the 9th.

Indeed finally. Id does seems like for ever, it took about 2 to 2 in a half months just to get that Chiari surgery put in the book(s)/on the board. I hope there is no more delays.
I wish you and your friends a great time if the meeting takes place of 02/09. I mayself is on the northside of Chicago.
I'm tired of this crazy weather, good idea on getting the blankets. Glad you like them.
I don't know if I can take any more surprieses let alone any more delays.

Cool, I'll try to make it, I can't promise anything that I can make it only time will tell. Sounds like fun to do. It's something like Northwestern Memorial Hospital WLS Support Group does once a year in December.

Sharon- I am from Aurora..but pre-outlet so I have no idea what restaraunts they added since they built that place. But I can tell you it's right down the street from the best pizza place in Aurora. ACH-N-LOU'S!!!!
If I remember right there's slim pickings around there. Just a lot of fast food. Unless they added since the mall went in
