Hi friends,

I read in the paper that a new doc who is a member of America. Society of Bariatric Physicians has joined the clinic in Byron. She is a Fam practice doc named Dr. Boparai. It is good to know of a primary care doc who does aftercare for Bariatric pts. in case someone needs a new doc.

Looks like more snow today but I'm going out anyway!

be safe,

Connie

Hi Connie and Friends,

I am surprised how clear the highways have been since Tuesday morning. G and I got in late last night from work, but I managed to throw together a quick pasta dish. I will NEVER do that again. I simply cannot eat it anymore. I always seem to forget how sick it makes me. I realize now that's why I eat it once a year. I was up all night. I start my Biggest Loser today and I figured I'd have a last fling and eat pasta. HA! I am such a food addict!

Tonight, after work, is my running around night. I go get my raw milk, poultry and beef from the farm. Since I cant pick it up until 7p, I try to get my errands ran prior. It works out well.  I then drop off my daughter's order at her job and get to spend some quality time with her.

Well, I have a meeting at Silver Cross HOspital today so I have to skidaddle.

Stay warm my Pretties.

Hugs,

Sharon

Good afternoon Connie and the rest of Illinois!

I am catching up on some computer work then thinking of making Greek Chicken for dinner.  I need to use up some of the Greek yogurt I made last week.

Not much else going on here.  My stomach is a bit touchy again today.  It seems to come and go.  Oh well.

Everyone have a lovely day!

Tell someone that you love them!

It is quite "balmy" out there - NOT! I have walked to work the last couple of days and it has not been too bad if you dress properly for it.

I got my new device yesterday - Samsung's Galaxy III 7" Tablet. It was the same price as the Kindle Fire HD - #139 from Amazon. I have been having fun with it. I have WiFi at work and home so I am connected where I go and in the future with hotspots. My primary use for it originally was for the download of books from the library or to purchase. My library has a ton of books (e-book or e-audio to download). My library is connected to a larger system in the DuPage area that has titles for download also.

Off to play with my unit. Got the free media app downloaded already and now just need to download the book from the library that I want to my PC the to my device.

Good Evening All!

it is going to be cold tonight!  Brr.  Not looking forward to leaving home tomorrow morning.  The cats today pestered Ric****il he let them out in the catio.  They had a ball playing in the snow.  It is so cold we had grounded them from the catio but they started crying and carrying on and finally Rick gave up.  It will be closed again tonight.  We get those looks could kill when they are prevented from going out.  Go figure, we want to stay inside and they want out!

I worked late last night and surprisingly survived with no extra tiredness.  Today they decided they did not need extra help.  I laughed when I left there were 17 calls holding.  Uhm, I think they goofed and could have used the help.  Their loss.

Tomorrow at work we are having a big wig come to our center.  As close as we are to headquarters, no one has ever come to see us!  Tomorrow it finally changes.  So all of us have to be on our best behavior tomorrow.

Connie, thanks for the tip on the surgeon who is taking bariatric patients.  Since my doctor moved I have no one.

Sharon, the roads this morning were clear and dry.  It was a different story coming home after the blowing and drifting had a chance to work.  The roads were snow covered and icy tonight.

Dawn, I am sorry your tummy is rebelling.  I hope you feel better soon.

Carla, I am glad you are home safe.  Hopefully it will be warmer here when you visit in February.

Chris, enjoy your tablet.  I love mine and play with it a lot.  It is great.

Everyone have a great day!  Stay warm!
